    I hope the brand of Salomon will encourage more pro skiers to think like these two wonderful gentlemen. I understand heli skiing is tons of fun, but the problems coming with it are even bigger. Go tell all the guys you know about the process you went through and the tons amount you still have with this radical different approach. I love what you two did here and I would love to see more pro atheletes take that way. Saying that I also have to mention: fantastic video, wonderful to watch.

    Awesome Film! Next step is to Ban Heli-Skiing and Heli-Biking as one ride causes 3 times the pollution as a car or truck. It's a luxury that does more harm than good

    7 heli rides too many! But travelling in the right direction. It's a relief to see that big names in the field of adventure sports are starting lead in this direction by a new example. Don't underestimate the difference you can make through this beautiful media output, by sharing your stories and showing the richness and joy in your new, carbon free adventures

    Really glad to hear them mention meat consumption as well. Diet seems like it is often overlooked when considering environmental impact.

    Great video! Well put together, and thought provoking story angle. My family has been adventuring by EV for 4 years now in the Kootenays as well - these cars can do a lot kootenayevfamily.ca/easter-weekend-trifecta/ ;) Once you start thinking through the lens of "what impact does this purchase or lifestyle choice have?", I feel more content with the decisions I do make. If we all cut our footprint by 50% as they note in this video, the collective impact we will make is huge. Keep on inspiring others!

    ... Like, Amazon destroys pallets-full of perfectly usable items, just to keep the market value high, and most people need to buy the cheapest product to survive.... Feeling like this (type of activity) is the way to solve things is delusional feel-good propaganda from the privileged class... (Sorry, love yous, but.... ..... we can't even get homeless people off the streets, let alone getting everyone an income to afford an electric car...)

  • @priorexperience

    @priorexperience

    ... You're incredibly strong individuals... We have to make our social actions strong too... Good to see people take to the streets in Revy (E-Greg vid), hopefully the demands were clear (certainly some industries around town that could do better), and the resolve of the people, strong! ... People who can't afford* electric cars can still get together and work against industry -- work with them (instead of implicitly criticizing their lesser ability for such actions and), instead of looking at this as individuals... Technology won't save us -- we need to evolve socially. *It's a pretty weak route to think that buying enough of them to drop the market price of them (and then get people to buy them) would be the most effective solution... We need our solutions ~now~.

    Good idea but none of the films this season have amazed me. How can you spend so long making a film like this only to include subtitles that are virtually unreadable? I used to watch films like the Eclipse piece and think it was the most incredible thing I have ever seen. With that said it is still one of the best skiing channels on KZread.

  • @SalomonTV
