i recall Angels Cove i started on the beach before getting to the house, but am not sure there were whale hunting...

The game you're thinking of may be Call of Cthulhu. The island you end up on was known for its whale hunters, but it went into decline as the whales disappeared.

Clearly u're the person that left the front door open, lights on in rooms that u no longer r in. I would hate to see ur heating\ ac bill & power bill. The game even told u to limit the amount of lights u turn on to avoid tripping the breaker. But just like when ur parents told u rhe same thing, it went in one ear & right out the other, not even stopping to ask for directions.

but but.... i was afraid to be in the old house by myself... the opened door was so i can dash out, and did you hear the endless creaking sounds? without the lights, i really can't... i hate to admit, but my r/s with my dad fell apart because of the electricity bills. i'm certain he resorted to removing the bulbs on the 2nd floor, so i dont even have a choice. i'm no longer invited to join him at the old house. I just didnt understand why he took it so hard, did you see what car i drive versus what car he drives? Talk abt saving money and the environment. His car literally drinks the finest petrol!

@@iscreamgamesnetwork LMAO makes sense but the dark isn't anything to be afraid of. I used to go into abandoned houses, industrial buildings & explore for hrs. But maybe I'm just built different lol. Sorry to hear bout ur dad, hopefully u 2 will be able to reunite someday under the same roof. But in the meantime keep up the good work & bringing us the lesser known horror games.

@johnbrinsfield932 Ah i was pretending to be the protagonist and taking the piss with my response. The protagonist came with a truck but the dad's car was like super cool! I was doing urbex quite abit many years ago, but these days every building has security systems, cops arrive in mins once sensors triggered. In real, there is nothing more scary for me than humans 😅 Thanks for joining me on the channel!

Yeah I stopped going because I had a reality melting time with a cryptid at a abandoned sawmill on the Eastern shore of MD. But I'm still a sucker for a good horror movie or game but ur welcome u earned my subscription. Just keep up the good horror game vids.

It must be different in different parts of the world. Where I live, lamps are practically negligible power usage on a per household basis.
