Tutankhamun (Ancient Egyptian: twt-nnḫ-jmn; y. 1342 BC - 1325 BC) or Tutankhamen, was an 18th-century Egyptian emperor during the New Kingdom of Egypt's history. at the end of the dynasty, the last leader of the royal family, the Egyptian pharaoh who reigned from 1332 BC to 1323 BC. Dec. His father was the pharaoh Akhenaton, who was found mummified in tomb KV55. Her mother is the half-sister of her father, who was referred to as the Young Woman found in KV35 through DNA testing and was found mummified.[2]
Tutankhamun took the throne at the age of eight or nine under the unprecedented viziership of his eventual successor, Ay, to whom he may have been related. He married his half-sister Ankhesenamun.
It is believed that their names - Tutankhaton and Tutankhamun - mean "the living image of Aton" and "the living image of Amun", and after the death of his father Akhenaton, Aton was replaced by Amun. Few Egyptologists believe that the translation may be incorrect, that it may be closer to "the life of Aton is pleasing", or, as Professor Gerhard Fecht believes, "One-mu
