    @@SpeedRacer1125 I don't think so, the monster is a much more complex character in the original novel than in most movies, I mean, he has full conversations with Frankenstein about being lonely and being in love and such

    In the book, Frankenstein's monster isn't described to have a square head, green skin, or bolts in his neck, he was actually described to appear the same as a regular person, execpt for the fact that he was 7 to 8 feet tall, and that he had weird eyes. And Frankenstein himself never said "It's Alive!" either. But bailed as soon as it woke up.

    I love this! Fun fact: Bill Hader also played a "Frankenstein Monster" in the SNL quick sketch movie parody, 'Firelight'. I do not know which came first, but just thought it would be cool to mention.

    Y'know, everyone makes a big deal of it actually being "Frankenstein's Monster," but I'd argue that, given that Frankenstein is essentially his "father"-- his "maker"-- it only makes sense that they share a surname.
