I love the sureal atmosphere of these old monster movies. Movies like "Frankenstein" and "The Mummy" will always be classics.

Wonderful use of the backdrops. Loved the fear exuded by Van Helsing and a surprising twist on the character of Dracula. Well done!

I like that this video was shot in black and white! It gives the video an old timey feeling, and a creepy feeling as well! I just about jumped out of my skin when the gypsy woman yelled at Edward! I had to turn down the volume. I liked the special effect used to show the bat turning into Dracula! Great work! ~Janet in Canada

I loved this. Reminds me of those old black and white 1930's horror movies blended with some early 20's silent film noir. Almost makes me think the protagonist is either meeting up with the creepy Boris Karloff and/or about to run into Bela Lugosi at any moment during the film. I see a lot of promise with this film and many others you will hopefully produce in the future. I love the old horror movie nostalgic feel this evokes. The atmosphere is spot on, the wilderness is the perfect setting for such a movie, and the clothes (for the era) are period correct to me. What I especially love about this is that it's replicating the early horror movie genre almost near perfect. 😊

I liked the background scenery

Great atmosphere! Wonderful 1930's cinematography. Costuming... eh! However, ifyou wander through an abandoned village in the middle of the Carpathians in the afternoon and there is no one around AND your last name is Van Helsing, wouldn't you suspect that the whole population of said village may have been turned into vampires? Camping out at night there is just advertising, "FREE FOOD!" I mean, at least eat some garlic toast or something.

Language options should be expanded, it would be nice to watch

The trick to getting Dracula and staying safe is moving his casket out during an eclipse of the sun. 😉

Lesson 1: Take your survival kit with you at all times. Lesson 2: Arrive at the castle early in the morning with enough time to find Count Dracula's coffin and destroy him well before sundown. Lesson 3 : Travel with a friend who can help you: Lesson 4 : Travel with enough crosses, garlic, holy water and wooden stakes.

Is this a retelling of the old tale of "Dracula" told in modern idiom? If Bram Stoker saw it, it would have brought a smile to his face. But, honestly, it was quite interesting. An everyday man going to Transylvania to track down "Dracula's castle". He is, supposedly, a writer because he is perpetually bent over, making notes in the vein of Jonathan Harker. Enroute to the castle, he chances across a gypsy's den which he visits and is revived with food and drink which enables him to continue his journey. Subsequent to his departure, the gypsy is shown pouring blood into a groove which provides invitation to a bat that transforms into a man in black cloak. He walks up to the gypsy and covers her with his cloak, leaving the viewer to believe that he is Dracula and had his first victim for the night. When the man eventually locates the castle, the door to its entrance is open inviting him in. He begins exploring the castle and eventually descending the flight of stairs is a man in cloak, but on closer scrutiny, the figure is that of a very young boy, a teenager perhaps. Has Dracula metamorphosed into this young boy? The film ends with the young boy exposing his fangs. The film as such is a nothing, but I loved the suspense that is built enroute leading to the finale.

You should try your talent on the George Romero cult classic Night of the Living Dead. ☠️ 😅😅😅

When he is laying there frozen on the ground, I would have had a couple of men find him and one says, "We found one that hasn't been eaten by the wolves yet. Let's see if the reanimation formula works." One of them pulls out a syringe with a glowing liquid in it and injects him. The scene fades to black and the words "The End" appears followed momentarily by a question mark at the end.

@@BlacklightCurtain Yeah I was aiming to shoot a 60 minute movie that would’ve involved the main 3 monsters Wolf Man ,Dracula and Frankenstein with a Semi retired Actor Conrad Brooks ,I went to West Virginia and shot w Conrad for 2 day came back home to shoot the rest of it but the cast crumbled within two weeks ,I lost over 7 thousand bucks of my own money ,I was pissed.

I'm awfully sorry to hear that! I lost a lot of money on a feature film I made in 2010. I never found a distributor for it and lost everything that I had invested in it, which was quite a lot. This little movie is my first effort since that disaster. I made sure that this film was extremely cheap to make.

Finally! Someone noticed that! I was going to say that their parts were cut from the film, but the reality is that the credits are fake. Only two of the actors listed in the end credits are real people, and only one name in the beginning credits is a real person. The entire film was made by one person (me) and I'm not in the credits at all.

Cool, I enjoyed this and wished it were longer. I made a film pretty much by myself. JB12, its free on my channel if you have 80 minutes to watch. I thought the greenscreen environments looked good, especially outside the fortune teller's wagon. Are you considering a feature length movie of this? If so, maybe make the young Dracula only one of the monsters human forms. The idea of it messing with Van Helsings mission/goals by playing with his emotions is a good one. @@BlacklightCurtain

Thank you, you're very kind! I will watch your film. I'm not planning any feature films at all. I made one in 2006 and another one in 2010 and lost a lot of money on both of them. I'm going to stick to short films as I can make them cheaply. This little Dracula film only cost $230 to produce.
