What a song..what a version!
I feel so dumb. I have loved the original version of this song when it was the only Ritter song I knew. Listened to it many times. Listened to this one twice. Only when looking at the lyrics on Genius and someone spelled it out did I find out the story is of a mummy that keeps waking up and walking with an archaeologist at night as they fall in love. Blows my mind. Anyway, Josh Ritter has a muse and you can't convince me otherwise.
I love the lead in...it reminds me so much of Patrick Stewarts version of the 4 seasons ! This is wonderful!
