Episode 2 walking into woodland mansion in poor gear because hes a bad boy. Grian killing him atleast 4 times and didn't take any time back off him. Jims not really gone for the kills tbh. A betrayal on Grian would of been fair game, and drop a few TnT minecarts like Joel and Grian were doing. Place a few TNT traps, 16:10 on this video, silly dealth. Get your shield on off hand would of been fine.

Update to my comment, decided to watch Grian's POV after I woke up (timezones are great huh) and they legit fell off the ladder "I'm not dumb" - Jimmy, refusing to believe his friends did actually fall to their deaths

That was so wholesome of Bdubs to be so willing to let you kill him. I love this series

Why is there this association between Jimmy and canaries? I don't keep up with all of his videos, just a few here and there when I wanna see his perspective of specific events, so I don't understand why a lot of people seem to associate him with canaries.

@@jacintacapelety9600 Basically, canary birds are associated with being the first to die, the ‘Canary in the coal mine’. It’s because back in the 1800/1900s miners would take a canary bird in a cage down into the mines with them. The small songbirds were more sensitive to carbon monoxide (which is deadly) so the bird would die first, giving the miners enough time to get to safety before they died as well. Since Jimmy has been the first out of every series so far, he gets associated with the first-to-die bird, and we say he has the ‘Canary Curse’.

It’s actually twice as sad because Jimmy should have been out after Etho’s boogey kill, the second hour never actually got deducted

I do think it would be interesting to have a series where one or two players have some sort of massive advantage. Last Life had something similar with the variable number of starting lives, but some sort of large advantage would be fun.

@@rebekahhumphreys2050 oooh could be something like an opposite boogie, if they die, the rest of the players lose time, but if someone dies the boogie gets time, maybe not all session but lilke 5 minutes. It could be very chaotic with some players and others would be more friendly

The thing is... even if you did a water bucket clutch when you fell off, you'll still die from the tnt minecart that you pushed. It's really an L/L situation there buddy. Anyways goodluck next season, hope you'll break the curse (and if you don't it's still okay cause that's your legacy in this series LOL. JK)

Curious fact, Jimmy should have been gone from Etho's kill since Etho was the boogey and should have taken 2 hours off Jimmy's time, ending his series. Basically Jimmy remained alive for the sole purpose of taking an hour from BDubs and Scott.

Replace Impulse with Mumbo. Also yeah, Jimmy's allies in every season had a bad placement: S1 - Scott (10th) S2 - Mumbo (16th) S3 - Tango (13th) S4 - Joel (12th) They never make it past 10th place. Lesson learned: Don't team up with Jimmy.

I watched Pearls episode first and immediately had to come here after to see what went wrong for Jimmy to die first again 😆 that takes skill to die first 4 times in a row.

Ok so Grian can pair up with freaking SCAR and keep HIM of all people alive, but jimmy died first AGAIN under his care. 😂😂😂 That's Tim for ya. Gotta love him 💜

Ok but Grian actually tried to protect Scar Here we see how Grian killed Jimmy like three times over past two sessions, was killing people with TNT left and right without even thinking to give kills to Jimmy, and also was delaying giving him his life for as much as possible... If anything, Joel was the one who tried to take care of Jimmy and followed him everywhere

Life season idea: Secret life, each person gets between 2-6 lives at the start, but everyone's name is green, until they are on their last life, which it turns red. Boogeyman enabled, and the twist is that each session everyone has a small chance to gain or lose a life, unless they are on red. So you never know how close to red someone is unless their your teammate.

I like the core idea but I feel like instead of a small chance to gain or lose a life... Don't broadcast death messages. have something similar to how there are lightning strikes when someone is eliminated but for all deaths, so people nearby will hear someone has died, but they will not know who died unless they actively saw it. And maybe also have the idea some have suggested about a boogeyman potentially having a particular target. I'd say that the target should know they are targetted, and the deal is the boogeyman gets a reward for killing the target, but can still kill just anyone to remove the curse. if there are multiple boogeymen, there'd still only be ONE target, whoever killed them first would get whatever the reward is. An idea for the reward could be to gain a life. While this could mean that you COULD make a deal to kill the target and then give them back their life, they'd need to trust you to do that, and if there are multiple boogeymen there'd likely be competition for that and it wouldn't exactly work out. If the target lives the entire session, THEY gain a life too, which would further discourage them from just letting a boogey kill them, but at the same time, it may be worth the cost if they don't trust themselves to survive the boogeyman.

I swear these three are the best trio ever, they are so entertaining you just want to cheer them on, their interactions with each other are my drive to keep on watching the series. Well done jim, even if the curse lives on you are still the baddest of the bad boys!

The one thing I like about Scott is how honest he is. Like when he says he’s going to do something, he does it and doesn’t back down on his word.

For grians question about planets. Gas based planets are rocks covered in flaming gas meaning you wouldn't fall in but would be burnt alive because there so hot.

Ironically, chatting with Scott at the Bread Base would have been a GREAT distraction while Joel and Grian were trapping Scott and Martyn's bed... if not for the fact that the entire server saw them go there. Such is Life series.

Jommy is about to go on a training arc, so when the 5th season of the life series comes, he'll get first.

When you shot Grian off the ladder, I think you also shot Joel with your piercing crossbow. Joel literally stated “who shot me” 2:12

Technically Etho's kill should have been a -2 hours, in the mayhem that was going on no one actually subtracted the time, that or they made a deliberate choice not to do so as you were under an hour. After Etho killed you the first thing he said was he strongly regretted going after you and felt sorry about it. Good luck on the next series, you were close to not being the first this time, I'm confident the curse will be broken at some point.

The best part is that Jimmy got boogy killed by Etho so he would've been out even if he didn't fall

Bdubs and Scar are the brothers, Jim , Grian, and Joel are the far cousins, Etho is the dad, Cleo is the mom, Tango, Skizz, and Impulse are the uncles, Smajor and LittleWoods are the best friends, and BigB and Pearl are the neighbors across the street.

Jimmy was meant to be out at 18:40 he got boogie killed, which meant he was meant to lose 2 hours (he had only an hour and 7 minutes) but he lost 1. He was on borrowed time the rest of the session.

hear me out. Life series idea: “life on the run”. The season uses a similar concept to this season with the 24 hours however each session a random person is selected as a server bounty that will give a reward of 1 hour for the final blow whereas a normal kill on the next colour up would only give 30 mins. After 30 mins of the bounty being in effect every player would be given a compass ( the background would be green for overworld and red for the never) and would point every five seconds to the location of the bounty. However each kill you get would increase how much your bounty would be worth 0 kills = 1 hour, and every kill you get the reward would go up 10 mins, and could possibly lead to some betrayals later on in the series. Plus if you are in a group and your allies help you kill you can opt to share the reward with them. Plus every player would essentially be boogie men so Grian won’t feel sad about not being the boogie man. As a side not you would also be able to put up some of your time as a bounty reward to make a bounty of your choice

you really are doomed by the narrative. this was one of my favorite povs, sad to see the bad boys gone so soon! at the same time i really hope you're ok, you seemed genuinely upset at the end of the video :( we love you and your content, no matter if you're good or bad at minecraft. i was hoping for the curse to either continue or for you to break it and win this season, either way it was really fun, even if it ended like always for you. in the meanwhile enjoy the incoming wave of new canary themed fanart!
