I was obsessed with this band for a minimum of 15 years, I’m probably 25 years in now as a huge fan, the last 10 years I’ve chilled somewhat and listened to other bands again but at the peak I struggled to listen to anything else. If you get them as a band it’s a huge gift. Wishing you more years of obsession. It’s a great ride…. 🙏

I loved them so much as a teen and early 20s and have rediscovered them and love them all over again. With the internet I’ve heard more than I ever did and get songs I didn’t live as much before. Like Faith and Figurehead and bare that weren’t my cup of tea before and also a lot of B sides I hadn’t heard
this masterpiece fits into every cell of the brain.

My favourite 90s cure record
The travesty of this song never making the WISH Album is that it will never be played live. Behind Plainsong and Open it could have easily been an opening song on a Tour. I would imagine live it would have sounded so powerful and would have set the mood for the rest of the concert.

*The Cure* B-sides are always incredible.... They had like 50 songs that didn't make it on to *Disintegration.* *MAN* they had a *TON* of smooth music!!

Colossal mistake by Robert to leave this song and HALO off of WISH Album. Play actually is SO good it could have \ should have been an opening song to a Cure concert. It is that powerful. With Play and HALO WISH would have been the greatest Album of the 90's (behind Nirvana of course)
