Newcastle defence is closely packed and Revie looses ball which is passed back to Simpson who clears up-field. LV. Newcastle attacking and get well on top at this stage. Trautmann leaping to save a shot. SCU. Trautmann leaping and rolling over in saving. CU. Woman shrieking. SCU. Trautmann diving at the feet of a Newcastle forward. Soon everyone joins in a scramble in front of the goal. Trautmann appears with ball and clears up-field. CU. Woman smiling.

Zoom, Bobby Johnstone running towards goal with only the goalkeeper to beat, he delays his shot and Simpson dives at his feet and intercepts the ball. CU. Disappointed fans. SV. White taking a corner. Trautmann intercepts ball. SV. Manchester attacking. A well drilled defence has little trouble in dealing with the depleted Manchester attack. SV. Manchester fight back. Joe Hayes takes a free kick, Casey collides with Revie as they leap for the ball, and he falls down injured as Manchester battle for the ball. SCU.
