Khalid Abdalla is interviewed for Netflix's The Crown Season 5. Written by Peter Morgan, The Crown‘s fifth series stars Imelda Staunton as Queen Elizabeth II, Jonathan Pryce as The Duke of Edinburgh, Lesley Manville as Princess Margaret, Dominic West as Prince Charles, Elizabeth Debicki as Princess Diana and Olivia Williams as Camilla Parker Bowles. Jonny Lee Miller takes on the role of John Major. Also featured is Claudia Harrison as Princess Anne, Marcia Warren as the Queen Mother, James Murray as Prince Andrew and Sam Woolf as Prince Edward. Playing the role of the young princes will be Timothée Sambor and Senan West as Prince William and Teddy Hawley and Will Powell as Prince Harry. Prasanna Puwanarajah is Martin Bashir, Salim Daw is Mohamed Al Fayed with Khalid Abdalla as Dodi Fayed.
Plot: Inspired by real events, this fictional dramatisation tells the story of Queen Elizabeth II and the political and personal events that shaped her reign.
With the new decade in its stride, the Royal Family are presented with possibly their biggest challenge to date; as the public openly questions their role in ’90s Britain.
Season 5 of The Crown is out now on Netflix.

Khalid has such a deep demeanor. Like you know he spends more time thinking than talking...but when he talks, it's wonderful.
They’re both so charming and did the Al Fayed’s stories justice. And Khalid is a beautiful man lol.
Actor playing Mohamed Al Fayed is delightful in The Crown. It’s one of my favorite episodes about him. Great actor. Also actor playing Dodi was so good too. These two actors brought out their humanity. Beautiful.
Its bizarre how much they look like the real Al fayeds. Great casting
He does a great American accent in the Crown.
He speaks so well! And his respect for Dodi is seen. He is proud! Amazing actors!
Episode 3 was one of my top favorites from season 5. Didn't know much about the Fayed's background and about Sydney Johnson. It was fascinating.

@laamautadesconocida He was raised in London in a wealthy family. He's married to a white woman. I don't think he's a serious Muslim although that is what he wants people to think.

@@NobodyCares...... to be fair, every Muslim is different just like any Christian or Jewish person. I was raised Catholic and consider myself Catholic but don’t follow all the rules of the church and don’t agree with the sexism in the church.
I think they dubbed another actor's voice in for Khalid's portrayal of Dodi in the Crown. It sounded and looked really unnatural.

They didn't. He's a decent actor but has a terrible American accent.
Um, Khalid seems to have little self-awareness. It’s rude to not let others talk. He goes on incessantly about himself.

@zenijt People still use "Karen?" You probably use a flip phone too. But in all seriousness - he does this all the time during interviews. The self-aggrandizing is over the top.
