Apparently when I was around toddler age or wherever the medium is between learning to walk, and having no teeth, I would come towards my mom with my mouth wide open like I wanted to give her a big baby kiss do you know where they can? I just suck on you like a lamprey turns out I just wanted to bite down on her chin and not let go😂 do you know like a lamprey ?🤣

As a new fan I am slowly realizing that this guy is basically every type of geek. I appreciate that.

I feel like I love this movie more than other people do. I think it's definitely underrated and is overlooked by other Dreamworks films like Kung Fu Panda and How to Train Your Dragon even though I love those too! Also, can we talk about how amazing the music is in this movie!? It's one of my favorite Dreamworks soundtracks. It's by Alan Silvestri. My personal favorite tracks are Smash and Grab done by the USC marching band, family maze, star canopy, cave painting, and the crood's family theme.

Ngl, one thing i love about the movie is how much detail and world building they have, i mean they Gave grug ACTUAL NECK VEINS, like daaamn

2:21 Only Avatar the Last Airbender could compete in the combining different animal species and making a new species. Hard to believe it has been 10 freakin years since this came out. CGI and story still hold up today. Oh the sequel has Jack Black singing in it, recommend checking it out!!

I absolutely love this movie, super underrated in my opinion👌✨

My fav scene from this is the cave painting scene. The imagery and everything😢

Guy carried this movie on his back, which keeps getting crushed like every 5 seconds 🤣 But seriously, I love this movie so much, and I’ve loved it ever since I was like 8. I’m so glad that more people are checking it out now, because it’s so underrated imo. Nothing special, of course, but we need more animated movies like this nowadays, I feel. I’d take predictable over predictably bad any day, you know? But of course, Dreamworks has been KILLING it these past few years, and due to this movie and many, MANY others, I wouldn’t expect any less from them. ☺️

Love the colourful world and using a heavily Cenozoic-esque inspired design rather than a Mesozoic one and it not relying on primarily dinosaurian (excluding the avian based ones we see) creatures co-existing with man like many prehistoric media typically relies on.

Dreamworks really has no limit on how to make good stories or fun flicks. Can you react to The Bad Guys sometime soon? If not, it’s cool

Well, grug didn't smoke anything but things are huge because oxygen was much higher in this pretend time period. In short, they are all high on oxygen.

This is one of my fav dream works movie and fun fact: scientist have said that whales used to live on land however they evolved to be in water

i love the croods so much, and ik youll prob watch the second one but it just does not compare in my opinion. they also like changed grugs face that made it more cartoony and it kinda made it into a joke movie (which ik the first one is very jokey but i find it still has better strong story in my opinion) which kinda felt like a drag on the first one. so sad i was really lookinf foward to it when it came out
