The Criminal "Kingpin" That Is STILL Playing Football

Спорт

Quincy Promes is somehow still playing football as we speak. Despite this, he has been charged with importing over a ton of illegal powder. How deep does this actually go?

As an ajax supporter i fully understand, just realize that this guy is a joke tho, he is also very famous here for replying to instagram dm's from just regular fans, in a way exactly like you think it would be. He was actually a very good player tho, i will never forget the ziyech - promes connection in the UCL, too bad we got robbed by chelsea that year (a true disgrace). Dont you think it is sad tho that the russian league turned into a safehaven for players like this, i never really hear the Spartak perspective on this

@@David-wy3dt No good player will go here anyways, and the league currently is not interesting to watch due to isolation and a stupid law which makes stadiums 2/3 empty. It's Zenit now playing in a baby pool with Gazprom money, it's boring and I only watch highlights in the last two years. Promes being prosecuted is definitely not the biggest problem of our football at the moment, hehe

@@shorkan1000 If you want to buy a ticket you have to fill a form on government website and wait for an approval (don't sure about approval part). From one hand, this alienates ultras because it forces them to put their info into government hands which they'll never do (15 out of 16 club's ultras boycott the games). From the other hand, this law alienates regular working class guys who just want to go and watch some football on a weekend. They won't go for some government permissions, there's a lot of other stuff to entertain yourself without such things. Add the meaninglessness of current RPL, a lack of good players and some bad weather for the better half of the season and you get 276 attendees on 18000 stadium (it was around a year ago)

Its all about advertising. We are more like to buy products and spend money when our brain isnt seeing or reading bad things, seeing these things slightly censored has a less harsh effect, this will make us more susceptible to advertisement and psychological programming. At the end of the day everything is driven by consumerism and MONEY

When he stabbed his cousin, his cousin tried or did steal something from his aunt. Promes replied with stabbing him. He was called/texted by several family members later that day, most of which are now public. Its both shocking and interesting because of the total lack of self awareness this guy has. He also said during these calls that his nephew was lucky he didnt carry a gun anymore

Quincy Promes attempting to bribe a Russian official was not a brazen illegal act. Its generally "expected" by some people in the Slavic countries that if you want the problem to go away, you can do so by making it worth their while. Been a fact of life since communism and even before that. Certainly not everyone is like that, but enough people are that its common. My friend's passport got held up at the border until he "Found" a couple hundred Euros for the officer and then everything was suddenly fine. TL:DR- He wasnt bribing the police, he was following protocol.

Didnt even knew about him trying to bribe a Russian police officer. Im a Twente fan who hated to see him move to Spartak and I really didnt understand Twente. Now I'm glad he's far in the past Also a Promes story: in 2014 he was celebrating holiday on Ibiza. What exactly happened is not known to the public, but Promes was arrested for domestic violence against his wife. He was never actually prosecuted for this. When the Ibizan police found out he was a famous footballer, they thought the media attention would be to much of a pain in the ass to deal with. So they set him free on the condition that he would be immediately deported back to Holland. He's apperantly a violent drunk, and he is drunk often. An insider of the Promes family has leaked to the Ajax ultras that his family is verry much divided on Quincy. On the one hand, Quincy is the cash cow of the family. On the other, is often misbehaving and violent. Some of the family will defend him till the bitter end and some want nothing to do with him anymore
