So before you say "point blank' I ask you: have you seen the evidence on how this guy has arrived at his conclusions? Have you cross referenced his sources? This is why people like myself study biblical Ivrit, as well as do in depth study of the anachronisms found in Tanakh. Some points made in this video are valid, but nonetheless, Torah is still a viable moral compass that should be seriously considered.

The bible was actually 80 books but the Vatican removed 14 books in the 1600s because they were deemed to controversial. The old testament was written by Hebrews, the new testament was written in Greek by converted Christians. So when you think of the bible as being one book and one religion. Its actually 66 books and two different religions. The Jews only believe in the old testament which they call the Torah. While Christians believe in both books even though the old testament and New conflict each other. In college I studied world religions and I believe the Bible is the only religious compilation of books that have two separate religions that use it. There are many versions of the bible even a slave edition that was written to ensure slaves did not read scriptures which may lead them to resist their status. What may concern some is the fact that in all religions, the people who created or wrote the books the deity conveniently sides with them or supposedly looks like them. I found native American religions where they connect with the land, nature and elements very pleasing. I am a Christian and believe in Jesus Christ, but I am also educated enough to know people have exploited the bible, even made changes to it to fir their own agendas. I remember learning that in the early years bibles were not owned by regular church attendees, only the pastor had access to it. Many would tell their poor members to get into heaven you had to pay the church money, now the bible never said such things, so you had people believing they were forever lost, because they were poor.
