Why don't you use autonomous construction? It is really good and helps to micromanage construction less.

When it came out it had bugs but now 99% of the time it micromanages and builds the most profitable buildings that will actually get employed, it is a much better automatic expansion, plus it adds to roleplay for example as landowners invest in buildings that benefit them. You should consider trying it out in another playthrough, maybe with a conutry that does not start as a minor power

Would you ever consider a "Wakanda" run, where you pick one of the landlocked African nations and console in full tech?

i think near the end your economy stagnated because of your stupidly high minimum wage. simply put, you made industry unviable. i dont reccomend going past the third level of min wage increase unless you have a huge market to offload your goods off to.

I cut it from the video but at the time, I was trying to get minimum wage all the way up to get a Journal entry. I should have put them back down but completely forgot

what i hate about this game is when you dont build a massive market you cant get a high gdp because living standart and gdp growth + pop growth is not enough to sustain 3k building

If you want to go council republic fast you need to utilize spawning karl marx with being the first to research socialism (socialism also holds a hidden buff to trade unions pop attraction, theres one other tec with that but im not sure if its human rights) Making your pops radical through low sol (for example having high taxes) so they become politically active and to trigger journal entries And potentially abdicating to a rev in which trade unionists have the most clout (if i remember correctly) but this one is a bit gamey From my experience enacting laws that trade unionists want like regulatory bodies etc is counterproductive to them having big clout im not sure why that is the case but seems logical that pops wouldnt want to vote for guys that have nothing to offer to them

I do when im not recording but while recording its easier for the game to be at a lower speed so I can concentrate on what Im talking about at the time. Despite that it does take ages to record these videos
