Great video. I just sold a property in Portland and am considering investing the proceeds in stocks. I know everyone says the market is ripe, but is now a good time to buy? How long till complete recovery? How are other people in the same market making over $450,000 in just a few months? I'm truly baffled at this point.

It is safer, in my opinion, to diversify your investments, especially if you are doing so with professional advice. You may decrease the impact of a market crash by distributing your assets over a range of asset classes, such as stocks, exchange-traded funds, and so forth. Seeking expert advice is essential.

Many people minimise the importance of counsel until their own feelings become overwhelming. A few summers ago, following a protracted divorce, I needed a significant push to keep my firm solvent. I looked for licenced advisors and found someone with the highest qualifications. She has contributed to my reserve increasing from $275k to $850k despite inflation.

If SPY trades sideways or rises he keeps the difference in Premium For 1000 Puts thats 2000$. If SPY dips below both strike prices He has to buy 100000 shares and sell 100000 shares for 0.5$ less than he bought them thus realising a 50000$ loss. Doing this naked would be just selling the puts thus pocketing 102000$ in Premium but having the risk of losing 100000$ for each point that SPY Dips which is way more risky

Understanding how options work is not that hard. You can literally read any book on options, that will most likely be enough if you don't suck at basic math. For example, "the business of options" by Martin P. O'Connel. Or "derivatives for the trading floor" by Patrick Boyle and Jesse McDougall, if you prefer modern books and finance youtubers. "Dynamic hedging" and "statistical consequences of fat tails" by Nicolas Nassim Taleb could be interesting for further reading, though they might require more advanced mathematical knowledge. Making actual good trades is hard, books and degrees are of little help here.

I watched XIV implode aftermarket in real-time back in 2018. It wasn't liquidated because of the losses perse, it liquidated because the prospectus had a provision that if the intraday Vix print closed up more than 80% there was no way to cover the short and it had to liquidate. A bunch of hedges got fat on a frankly, overcrowded dumb trade. Anyone who lost on this trade had it coming to them for using an ETN.
@tarekyared4404
Жыл бұрын
And that provision is related to excessive losses and the lack of margin available at that level of loss. It's the same thing. They had to liquidate because of the loss. The provision was just quantifying the level of loss required. It's not like the fund would have stayed liquid if they just didn't have that provision in it.
Thank you! I miss New vids! More of em please!

Please, man, don't let us wait for your vids! if you have to, You can just talk and record yourself talking about whatever, that should suffice for many including me. Your channel is the only one where I watched all the videos. keep up the good work man!
Hey man, nice video. Can you share the link to the option profit calculator? Im trying to understand more of the pricing of options.
Dude, what ever you're doing with your days...you need to stop, and just make more of these videos! I find myself checking on the daily if you've uploaded any new one. When the disappointment hits that you haven't, I end up just watching the ones I've watch before, and are left moderately satisfied...but your fans need more, I need more, every person that's got into trading and lost money, needs more. So pretty much everyone of your subscribers. More pleeeeeeeeease :)
A NEW BENJAMIN VIDEO?! LETS GOOOOO AND IT’S 11 MINUTES? Dude, it’s November don’t do this to us
So glad I just discovered this channel
I get tingling feeling below the bell every time I see new notification from Benjamin 😳🥴
Lol just like you said. I have just spent my first 12 months in Robinhood with my own "small cap" strategy and one other investment. I have 5% return for the first year. Not great but positive. I am now ready to option up for the $5 million. The key to your chart is get out at "jacked to the tits." Thanks for the tip.
Losing 25% off my portfolio on Tesla puts right now
Awesome! Some of these bets are like putting money on a Horn bet at the craps table and when it hits, doing a full press with the winnings. D-gen to the max lol
literally just went back to some of your other videos yesterday because i was in need of a benjamin fix, then you upload this today...feeling blessed, to say the least
I swear Benjamin is turning us into crackheads making us wait weeks for new uploads lol

I came here to learn how to trade after listening to a guy on radio talk about the importance of investing and how he made $460,000 in 4 months from $100k. Somehow this video has helped shed light on some things, but I'm confused, I'm a newbie and I'm open to ideas.

I've been making passive income monthly from crypto for over a year tho' I prefer trading with the help of a professional broker Nora Hendrix because she saves me time and reduces the risk of losing funds in trading as we all know how volatile the market is.

@@edersonglee4774 Am trading with expert Nora Hendrix, a regulated broker in US, Met her sometime early last year at a start up funding event. She has some interesting things to say about the state of algorithmic trading today. Obviously I'm seeing the results.

Exactly, the trick is to diversify your investment, don't panic when everyone else do and invest consistently.
Holy cow that's amazing leverage! I like to do some margin when trading but this is just next level! :D
