I have a rant about Hannibal. Mark Twain was not born there and isn’t even buried there. He grew up there and now the town has this weird cult following for him. It’s like the town is a sad mark twain theme park. Everything is named after him, mark twain laundromat, huckleberry finn liquor store, Tom Sawyer insurance company, etc. I had to go there for work once and it was cool but so weird. I can’t think of anything similar besides Graceland & Elvis…
