It warms my heart that she's trying to be involved with your Glorious project because that's what I WISH I had right now... A woman that actually has interest in My HUMMER H1... See my fiance just here recently walked out on me taking both kids and I now live home alone and only get to see my baby's on the weekends... Me getting my HUMMER was supposed to be the family project and fun vehicle to go places in and do things with... But she decided that she didn't want to be part of the family anymore and has put herself first and for most... You can get a gas small block in a hummer ?

I'm doing a similar job on a Humvee (body swap) and also having to "shade tree mechanic" the job myself as we also are waiting on our building and hoist. Just wondering what kind of labor hours you have into the body removal and installation.

I’d highly recommend using a lift. A lot safer and you can have the body off within 2-3 hours.
