Yup it is crazy. My stomach feels like it in my chest on the drop itself( tickling senses in stomach after going at 70mph) I thought I was dying first time on this insane steep drop. But now I want to do over and over lol.

For real, I let go of the front handrail and I swung and started trying to grab it back but since we’re going so fast I couldn’t grab it my friend had to reach their arm on my wrist and put it back on the rail because of how fast it was

I did too seconds b4 drop cuz of nerves and fear. It's terrifying seeing how high i am and on drop my screaming gets louder cuz it's scary initially. El toro is an insane fun thrilling and scary ride with ejector airtime ! So I understand . After four times I love it tho.

My favorite first drop and arguably my favorite coaster! I nearly cried when I heard this years news…I had been waiting until later summer to go to SFNJ. Fingers crossed 🎢

I went on this when I was seven like 4yrs ago, this ride my dad sad was 70ft tall and 40mph, but he was wrong because he wanted me to go on it. This roller coaster brought me my fear of them

I was in the second seat and it felt like im about to fly out of the seat

Went on this recently, felt like i broke my back

My sisters went on this ride and they said the first drop was a little scary but fun and their glasses almost fell off😂but it was still fun😃

Haha😂 my BFF had a scarf on her head and she held onto it after drop cuz she almost lost it lol. Couldn't refrain from screaming over drop and hills as we whipped hills flying up toward lapbar. It was frightening yet fun. BFF held to lapbar Immediately on drop and screaming way more than I did ( even tho i screamed as well and laughed at bottom of drop).It was funny seeing her freak out next to me as we are launched out of seats over hills . The insane ejector airtime had us both screaming crazy and me laughing after seeing her tied up scarf after ride. Hilarious cuz I said "What were u trying to ride with a scarf on head??" Was stunned by the ejector airtime from drops themselves but awesome 👌

I hope six flags does not RMC El toro it doesn't need it. Also the first drop on El Toro imo was better than Iron Gwazi's. I didn't even feel weightless on Iron Gwazi's drop and that's even steeper and taller. Unless I was stapled down but I doubt it. I still like El Toro's drop way more.

I went on this ride yesterday as my first ride and first time being at great adventure and it’s safe to say that this ride was absolutely crazy so crazy I went on it twice.

I was on el toro today, it’s been many years. It is like a workout, very extreme coaster. My favorite is Kingda Ka, it’s like nothing else. The enter six flags great adventure park is stacked.

I literally lost my soul the turn before the drop clings to the side of your seat and then your restraint lifts by a tiny tiny bit and i’m flying shakily it’s crazy

Agreed. It’s because of how fast you tak that drop. Might be close to a 200ft lift hill but it’s at like 10-15 mph plus the turn speeds you up.

I know that drop from anywhere lol 😆

I went on this when I was a skinny 10 year old and HATED IT. I sunk so low in the seat and I couldn’t sit up the whole time it was terrifying

Wooden coasters are no joke. They don’t have loops, but the drops are insane, they’ll rattle your brains and crush your balls and make you repent your choice of getting in the coaster. And El Toro is the devil itself. Nothing compares ! Trust me I’ve ridden all kinds of coasters across North America, Europe and Asia .. nothing compares to El Toro on a pure adrenaline rush and fear factor.

I describe this to my friends as jumping off a tall diving board, and then right at the peak of ur jump u stall out for a second and get pulled down at max force

I went to Six Flags Great Adventure on October 15th, 2022 and I didn’t get to ride el torro because it was closed at the time but the whole park is just amazing and I recommend 3 rides the most: Superman, Batman, and Nitro🫶🏻

Sure, Ka’s drop is much bigger, but it doesn’t give you the same level of intensity as El Toro’s

Kingda ka is taller but it's twisted on the way down which I think ruins the potential of the drop. It's like going down a spiral staircase instead of Free falling . El Toro's is way way crazier.

Yeah. I was on yesterday and it felt way more rough than the last time I went on. The last time was only a couple weeks ago and yesterday, it was way too bumpy. At least for the run that I was on.

I rode in front and back...you are whipped up over the hills in back. I love the front since I note even stronger airtime on the camel backs and rolling thunder hill. Plus view of all things in front. U are literally launched from ur seat first drop to each hill no matter. Personally I dislike the back. But back row was brutal to me . On first drop u are yeeted from ur seat and ur are whipped up and over each hill. I thought I was gonna snap my neck and was going fall out each hill. No matter what seat u r in , it is an intense and wild ride. U r flying so fast and the ejector airtime is INSANE!!! THE BEST FIRST DROP FOR ME! ONE OF THE BEST!

I have ridden every car of El Toro multiple times. The middle actually has its own action. I'm personally fond of back then front then middle but I would never leave the park without also doing middle. When I get to six flags I run straight for El Toro and hop on the front. Then I sprint off the ride and go straight for the back. And then I gauge whether I'm going to do the middle based on how busy the line is when I sprint off again. Sometimes i run for kingda ka and then come back later for Toro
