The CRAPPIE THAT EATS BASS FOR BREAKFAST!!! (INSANE)

Спорт

In this video, I a fishing right before a huge cold front moves into Texas! In my opinion, these fish know a cold front is coming and they will feed right before it moves in! We test this theory today and end up catching one of the biggest crappie I have ever seen!

One of the prettiest fish to catch, and reflect sunlight off of them, sparkling rainbow colors!! Also one of the tastiest too!! Think the Black Crappie record weight here in California is around 4 pounds...? Catch and release at my lake until middle July each year.

This past year I've been layed up, thats why I'm glad I ran across your channel. Yes, your correct. Fish can sense the barometric change in pressure, they move more. I've used a white crappie buster, n let me tell you, never had that many hits which turned to catches. That a huge crappie.!! Keep up the great content

Totally right about fish sense of barometric pressure, probably more sensitive than electronics. Crappies are the toughest fish I've ever brought home. I have fished all day, drove two hours home, put my boat away and starting to clean my catch. At least half of the crappies are still flopping around in the sink ! This has happened time and again, amazing.

What a fish! And you’re right on target regarding the fish and the weather. Several years ago I was listening to a call in radio show and a caller mentioned how he was having a great time catching fish after fish when all of a sudden the bite just shut down. He found out that the second the bite stopped was the exact moment that tsunami hit which caused all the tidal waves and havoc all over the pacific. Yes, the fish are much in tuned with nature. 🇺🇸🎸👮🏻‍♂️

You are so right about fish and animals knowing about the weather, I learned a long time ago to look at the cows out in the pasture, if they are up grazing then the fish are also feeding and if the cows are laying down and sunning, the fish are having a off day and won't bite anything...

Always love the crappie content. After a few weeks of super cold weather and a few snows in Virginia we finally had a string of warm days last week. Went to my crappie pond and it was actually nice to be able to fish it without weeds everywhere. Of course I only get one nice crappie + 14 small bass, haha. I'm mainly a bass fisherman but now I know what it feels like to be disappointed to keep catching bass and no crappie. Nonetheless, I was just stoked to be catching fish in early February. Especially that many

Hey man! Awesome video and what a pig! That dink bass was kinda cute too. You made me remember this one time I was out with a friend and we found a stream that ran thru a culvert under a gravel road. We were pitching jigs up inside the culvert and the crappies were just SLAMMING it, within 2 seconds of the jig hitting the water. It was exactly what you were expecting from that gazebo, except they were in full spawn. It was the best crappie fishing I’ve ever had! What a blast! Thanks for the memory, and the ideas… what with being in Phoenix, I’m going to get a bit more disciplined about watching weather and temps and such. Can’t wait to get my first fishing video out there!

Sitting up north here,WAITING for the spring thaw, can't wait for crappie fishing to begin! There's just something about the way they hit, whether jigging or using bobber that's exciting. And when you get that massive one, BAM! BONUS! BTW did you get a measure on that slab? Enquiring minds wanna know. 😀

Hey, if you get the chance, come up to Maryland and Virginia for some blue catfish. They grow big and fight hard, and they're an invasive species, so you can pull as many as you like and eat 'em.

That was a nice crappie. Yes they do have built-in barometric sensors in their makeup. They sense drastic weather changes like rain storms and temp swings.
