The cracks widen in Brisbane in the Australian Anglican Church - with Peter Judge Mears

The former American first lady’s comments came to mind as I listened to Sydney Archbishop Kanishka Raffel give his first presidential address to the Sydney Synod since being elected during Covid.
Archbishop Raffel’s ‘Do you see the crowds’ address at Oran Park was mission driven and gospel focused, particularly asking how to reach the new housing estates where 30 new churches are needed to reach the hundreds of thousands of people who are moving into the Greenfields areas to the west of Sydney. There was no mention of Brisbane.
It was a stunning contrast to the address South East Queensland Archbishop Phillip Aspinall gave. It was a hand grenade presentation, attacking evangelicals and Sydney Anglicans, which has so far led to the resignations of two of his ministers and the splitting of two Brisbane congregations.
The second minister to resign in Brisbane is Peter Judge Mears.

This is exactly what happened in Western Canada and we left in 2002. We started the Anglican Network in Canada in 2009.

Well Sydney Anglican and Southern Cross Diocese, you’re one of the few left standing! You now have wider fields to cover in proclaiming the Gospel of grace! It’s time to reach the nation. The time is short.

Philip Aspinall has been a very divisive bishop. I wouldn't like to be in his position on Judgement Day.
We are living in the time of hot or cold. There is no luke warm because the cold are forcing all people to be cold, or else.
Goodness and kindness comes first scripture comes fift and wait a little and then give it another kick to curb!
We have the same problem in the United States in many denominations: Assemblies of God, Church of God, Nazarene and other conservative Evangelicals. But the Bible makes it clear there is no such thing as an immoral Christian! We need worldwide repentance and a worldwide revival!

"Come out from among them and be ye holy", says the Lord! Stop fighting (self!), worshipping and following the Anglican Church! Time to start to practice one's belief and to live in the light of eternity. The Bible is the inspired, inerrant, authoritative Word of God. Believe it. Live it. Time to start obeying and following Jesus as Redeemer and Lord (John 1:1-5). Mission: Matthew 28:18-20. Modus Operandi: Luke 9:23. Malachi 3:16. Sadly man makes God in man's image. Bringing Him down to man's level of experience. Pride. Demands. Pleasures. SELF. The Anglican denomination (as many others world wide) is one of hypocrisy and heresy! Romans 1:20-28), etc. But all Written (2 Tim 3 and OWR). Choices! Luke 9:23!
