What mic stand is that?
This is why I love the 195. Put someone who can sing with good technique in front of it and there you go. Sounds great. What kind of compressor did you use?

Lol thanks! I used a Waves plug-in for compression. RCompressor maybe?

Hmm - I use a mic preamp, which helps a lot. I have the Focusrite ISA One.

Do you not have any problems with the fan off your computer with a condenser microphone in a smaller room ? because they are very sensitive..

No, the fan on my laptop rarely kicks on. Usually only when I'm editing a bunch of video.

4 years later... I think it sounds great! Even for still passing through the Scarlette preamp circuitry (because I am guessing the Scarlette was not designed to have completely bypassable preamps). Great job on the song and mix!
