Oh Kate these are all so beautiful! I especially love "Welcome to Cork" and "Road to Lisdoonvarna"... I feel like I'm in another world when I listen to them. Somehow they manage to evoke feelings of both peace as well as adventure :)

It was wonderful to first listen to (downloaded) Court of Leaves on... St Patrick's Day! Thankee! (or medieval equivalent) A magnificent achievement that you have created this by yourself. A true Renaissance Woman. Very nice video also--I like the period artwork. :-)

You are truly one of the artists that Kickstarter was made for. There are many, who never finish their projects and if you spent money on them, the money will be just lost. But you are a "known" artist, you can be trusted, and kickstarter gives you the opportunity to fulfill your ideas while your fans (and many of them existed already when you started the kickstarter thing) get the possibility to receive something of their "idol". And then you spent the extra money on equipment and stuff so in the end, it is coming back to those who listen to your songs again! This makes me so happy :)

I have only just discovered this absolutely wonderful music around a year ago. However I listen to it almost every day. It has helped to bring Magick back into my life. Thank you for being such an amazing artist and beautiful soul 💕🧚‍♂️

Quen a Omagen is by far my favourite song from the album; the birds singing in the background add a nice touch. It's so nice to hear kantele in other than traditional finnish songs. :) I bought the physical copy, because my grandmother loved Raindancer. She doesn't have much entertainment and most of her family lives many hours away. I don't have a chance to visit her very often, either, but when I do, I always take an old Disney cartoon or a pretty album such as this with me. I'm sure she'll love hearing Court of Leaves as well! Thank you for all the hard work you've done, Kate!

I cannot wait until the physical copy gets mailed. I have to say that I have been thoroughly enjoying this since you emailed the digital copies. Songs put me in a very positive mood, and actually help me while I write. Its also a great album to listen to when its time for bed as well because of how incredibly soothing the musical score is. I think my favorite song on the album is Branle Des Chevaux, but every song on the album is amazing. Frankly it was totally worth backing this project, and I hope that you continue to produce such amazing musical art. Kate you rock!

I love this CD! I like it even better than Raindancer, actually! There are a lot of singer/songwriters in the world; writing lyrics and melodies is a neat skill, but not an exceptional one. I feel like this album really showcases what is extraordinary about Kate: her virtuosity (especially on the violin), her arrangements, her mixing and engineering. These are truly invaluable qualities. I've been trying to learn several of these pieces on my guitar since I got the CD, and I've been really inspired to finally attempt some all-instrumental covers that I've been wanting to do for a long time. As always, Kate's work reminds me that with hard work and an open mind, anything is possible. *_* (Aside: I really want to see someone choreograph some kind of modern lyrical jazz routine to Kate's version of "Newcastle". ^_^ I think that would look really cool.)

I bought 2 physical CDs this year, The Court of Leaves and T. S. 1989. I bought Kate’s CD because I want to support her brilliant music (Prior I also bought Raindancer, A Bard’s Sidequest). Her CD has some priceless thoughtful artistic content along with a handwritten note. I bought T. S. 1989 because it may be the last platinum CD since the way people listen to music is radically changing. I have equally listened to both CDs (or more accurately the digital files since it is more convenient). Both artists have exceptional talent.

Best instrument music ...I ever heard

It has been over six months since I got the Court of Leaves music. I still listen to it periodically along with new music, but I have this more in the background when I need to do work and concentrate on something. For some reason, I work better with this music than having it quiet with no distractions.

I bought it iTunes, as I do all your music! Fantastic to listen to, especially when playing mine-craft!

Celtic tradition was born in Galicia, Spain hence where the word Gaelic came from. Ancient Irish immigrated from Galicia. Galicia is Northern Spain, ancestry came from the Visigoths, more civilized and intelligent version of the Vikings. They even took political control of Rome at one point before migrating to Northern Spain. The Reconquista (Reconquest of Christianity) in Spain was started by a Visigoth. Gotta love history. Real history, not the bullshit the US education system spews in their textbooks.

This music is so enchanting and lovely. Are these, by chance, original compositions inspired by all these cultures, or are they recreations? Either way, it's amazing in every level, and certainly a feat to be envied! :)

Galicia! There are so many beautiful melodies there, I didn't know that song was from there! (I have heard it many times by Blackmore's Night *O*)

In fact, if I don't miss, this song was composed by Alfonso X (King of Castile), also known as "El Sabio" (the sage), using one of the most prestigiouses languages at the medieval times: galician-portuguese.
