Ménière's disease is a rare disorder of the vestibular-cochlear organ. Attacks of this disease are characterized by at least two episodes of paroxysmal dizziness lasting at least 20 minutes, tinnitus and a feeling of pressure in the ear. Additionally, patients complain of balance disorders, a feeling of tension in the affected ear and a feeling of fullness in the ear.
