I came to watch this movie for Benedict but ended up admiring Merab Ninidze. He did so well in this movie!! Amazing cast!

"Maybe we are only two people but this is how things change." These words said by Oleg Penkovsky( one of the main characters) struck me. I finished watching the movie just an hour ago and I'm literally impressed. "The Courier" has left me speechless. It's a masterpiece that everybody should see. I totally recommend it. Wow. ❤️

And he was young Peter Guillam in the film version... which I approached with gigantic trepidation and resentment - the miniseries was a perfect thing of beauty and there they were not leaving well enough alone - then to my astonishment, the best film was to see all past decade unfolded before my eyes.

Benedict Cumberbatch is such a good actor

To anyone wondering if this is a good movie, yes it is! It just starts slow but its real pleasant to watch. It taught me so much about loyalty and trust to anyone who deserves it and that it only takes one person for change to happen.

Thank you Benedict Cumberbatch you just made 2021 better.

Wowww this looks absolutely incredible - as a Russian speaker myself (having studied it and lived in Russia) this is right up my street! Also anything with Benedict C is always a winner

If it wasn't for Oleg and Greville who knows how the world would've been today or if we would've still be here. May they rest in peace! I wouldn't have the courage to do that.

First, he broke enigma to win the war. Then, he defended the london sanctum. Now, he became a courier and a spy. Benedict is no doubt the favorite hero of great Britain.

Some time ago I would consider that a preposterous idea that Benedict could pull off John Cleese, but after Liam Neeson's crazy performance as BadCop/GoodCop in Lego Movie, I will never discount the abilities of great actors to be in a zany role. I should have realized that even further before with Kenneth Branagh in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.

Outstanding movie - and the true Penkovsky-Wynne story is even more fascinating. I read somewhere that the maps used in the story are actual documents from the Cuban missile crisis - declassified of course.
