A penny is worth nothing. If he would be smart, he would try to increase his earnings instead and invest his money. Saving with coupons this kind is basically theft from the store. It's a loophole and this loophole is closed for ages where I live. He forever will stay in this mindset and be poor. Also his personality disorder will get worse in time and women absolutely dispise cheapstakes like him. If you're not generous giving money, you're also not generous with feelings. Whole point of the show is to let you all believe you could and should save your money, instead growing it. This kind of mindset is a poor mans mindset. It's a part of why most people are total failures financially.

@@shadowmoon1982 You first sit down and contemplate what needs to be done, what money is, how it could work. This will take some hours. Think about what you do and what is wrong, needs to be optimized or completely thrown out of the window. You don't have money? Ok. There must be a reason despite reasons you can't change. There must be something where you f*cked up. It's you that needs to change, not the economy, government, XYZ. Example: stock and crypto meltdown March 2020. Prior to this where booming years. Why didn't you save up and waited for next economic crisis to hit and then bought stocks and cryptocurrency? People in March 2020 bought tons of toilet paper, stocks were down big time. What was your fear? Collapse of dollar? Goverment won't let that happen. What will they do not to have social unrest? Of course print money. When money gets printed, what happens to stocks? Yes, they go up. Think logicly and years ahead. Newspaper writes of inflation. Yeah, but at least 1 year later then you should have known. Logic + a strict financial plan + every day 2 hours of information seeking will make you financially better off in the long run then at least 90% of your peers. Then find people around you to learn too as you will fight every time you speak and it will tear you down. Also its nicer to be well off, when your friends and family are too, instead of them begging you for the money. Change lives to the positive and don't listen to the naysayers and bears. They printed money like crazy. Interest hikes here and there, this money can't be taken out of circulation anymore. Next years until next crisis => biggest bullmarket in history.

I agree with Megan. Where are his parents? He says that they moved away for work and he's worrying about their food security, yet they seem to have moved away, had a new baby, dumped him with his ex's family, and only visit to pick up groceries from him (that they can't even be bothered to help him pick up from the store). The kid seems to have a good heart yet is being callously used by his parents. It's really sad.

@@georgina-a It's a show Georgina and most likely at least 70% of it is pure fiction. It's part of shows who will let you believe you could and should save using coupons, sponsored by businesses, basically free advertisement for stores. With the mindest of "saving" on coupons, nobody ever has become successful in life. Where I live in Europe, you can only use 1 coupon per person and buy goods in normal household quantity, not shop 65 soups or anything like that. Also whole story is logically incoherent. This shows are not only wasting your precious time, they also put you in mindest to stay a poor (financially seen) loser.

Coupons like the ones he used are issued by corporate; the store does not actually lose any money. For example, Kleenex corportate produced those one dollar off coupons, so when the store scans the item (unless it is a store-provided coupon) they are later reimbursed by Kleenex for selling their product. Obviously corporate doesn't expect most people to hoard their coupons like he does, the coupons were probably produced in a relatively low number and intended to be used as almost a free trial. I just don't understand how he got his hands on that many of them. This kid is a genius and is (legally) exploiting the system for his own gain.

@@TDpeanut170 nah can happen in the UK too.... in Asda certain coupons like detergent you don't even need the product for so if you're doing self service and you have a £5 coupon you could get negative and they have to give you the money the same way you get change on a bank note.... also sainsburys used to have a glitch if something is buy one get one free then it will discount the full amount even if its reduced (e.g I once bough chicken breast running out of date for £0.99 BOGOF from £2.99, I only needed chicken and bought two and the amount came to -£2 which they had to give me, another time after then I was doing a full shop and got a load of reduced BOGOF meat so got them all and £70-80 worth of food and over £100 worth of meat came up to £6, if there were a few more packets of meat they would have paid me money to do my big shop I only do a couple times a month, filled my freezer with meats and gave my family the rest so nothing was wasted)
