Frank Matthews was THE biggest Heroin supplier in NY, a distant second to Matthews was Leroy "Nicky" Barnes THEN Frank Lucas, Nicky Barnes and Frank Lucas rolled over on their entire crews and families, no honour among thieves, as the saying goes, but to snitch on your flesh and blood is lower than a crack dealer stealing a blind man's last dollar IMO

@DeeDert you're just going by what you've seen in the movie, Frank said his bros. never worked for him. The movie made it seem like Frank went & got them from down south & taught/put them in the game, not true. The Country Boys had their own operation, it just so happens they're his brothers. Frank might've gave them some work here & there but it wasn't how the movie portrayed them. They made Frank seem like a intelligent, calm intellectual when he was really loud, brash & rough

truth, the movie as much as I love Denzel and as a drug kingpin movie, it was great...BUT THE MOVIE WAS ALSO BULLSHIT!!! Frank Lucas was as dumb as a bag of rocks and took credit for everything, they should have done a movie on Nicky Barnes (and not the way they fucked him over in that movie)

The central ward projects. Scudder Homes AKA Howard Street, Stella Wright AKA Prince Street and Hayes Homes. I’m not sure if they were in the Central Ward at the time but Columbus Homes. I was a kid at the time 10-11-12. They exaggerating parts of the story but most of what they say is true. The Frank Lucas story is part him, part the Newark Nj country boys and part Ike Atkinson who was the mastermind behind the importing of the China White herion.

I just today watched 'American Gangster' and found it quite tragic but interesting nonetheless for the fact that it's based on a factual true story regarding himself and his five younger siblings. It's s real tragedy though but in retrospect it's a story that should be learned from rather of them being made a martyr!

I was in my teens in Jersey City NJ when this devil along with all his family including his mother pounced on Harlem. His drugs spread over many large cities in NJ including Newark, Jersey City, Hoboken, Plainfield, just to name a few. In the movie, his mother played the babe mother in the woods. I would have locked her up, just as quick as I would have done him. I'll say this and be done. I needed to be the sitting judge when he appeared in court. Prison is where he would have died, that's how much time he would have gotten rom me.

I guess these are the brothers who got punched in the face in the car for leaving drugs in trunk and the other who snitched. 👀👀👀🙌😆😆😆😆🤣🤣This is just so sad I’m sure they have kids and grandkids. I would not want to be debating that I actually did it and not my sibling. I just don’t know about this. This sounds like these brothers want to be known for the most famous drug dealers.😬 At the end of the day he took the fall. It just seems crazy if the law took the money from his house, deposit boxes and more. The thing is they have photos of him next to other drug lords but we not seeing y’all pictures at all. They trying to make the country boys a famous name. I don’t know if this is worse or worse trying to rap at 65👀🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😆😆😆
