Cotswolds born and bred, I went to school in Bourton, lived nearly all my life between Stow and Morton. Sadly the area I call home no longer resembles what it once was because the center of village life has gone due to people buying second homes. I remember fondly the village pubs where local farmers among others village characters would frequent and talk about their days….. Happy memories!

I live in the area, and I think we do tend to take things for granted. It is not until we try to move house but want to stay in the area that we are being priced out by people coming from the big cities at weekends who want to buy us out.

Well we went from silvanian families to outlaw Josie wales how fabulous. You never cease to amaze me in your brilliant journeys. I too love travelling so watching you all on your adventures reminds me of my family vacations. Thanks for this guy’s, precious family times and beautiful scenery really makes it all worth while. Lovely vlog. I have been to Bourton On The Water many times and it is just a stunning place. Lovely friendly locals and beautiful buildings made from Cotswold stone. Love the tent, very luxurious tent and its just lovely to see that you can enjoy the scenery and have an enjoyable stay without having modern day luxuries.

Love the Cotswolds. We were in Bourton on the water before Xmas. Loved the cowboy shaving scene Mark.....hilarious 😂

My Grandfather lived near here. It truly is a beautiful place - you should go in the summer, it’s so busy with people enjoying the sunshine along the riverbank x

You should try the Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire. That’s where I’m originally from and it is absolutely stunning! Mark you would love it, there’s a place called ‘Puzzle wood’ where many parts of films were made, including STAR WARS ❤️ it is amazing, it feels like you’re in another world. I always love it when I go back home ❤️
