I've only just started seeing your vlogs, Mr Rocket. I think you're doing fckn great mte. Fvk the haters, they're a sad bunch of cvnts. They've either been fckd in the arse by a previous thai relationship, or they're sitting at home giving you grief while their old woman's watching Emmerdale in the front room. I've been married & divorced to a Thai from Roi Et, but it hasn't put me off wanting to do what you've done. You're part of the encouragement and incentive to make the move. Gord bless ya sir🫡

Trick with a freezer, always put 3/4 full bottles of water in there (can use tapwater) freeze it and it keeps everything super-cold so the fridge runs a lot less. You can just pull them out if you get more food to freeze.

I have been watching your channel recently and checking out your older videos also, thank you for making the videos about your move to Thailand and for being open and sharing everything how it is. You have a good character and personality. So many negative comments on the internet unfortunately, usually from people who are just jealous because they are stuck in the western world where everything is crazy expensive now and no one is happy :D, all the good KZread channels will get negative comments, best to just ignore them and stay positive. Amazing glad to see you living out the dream. As a hedge fund manager watching your vid on moving from the UK and putting the money in a fixed savings account that’s absolutely the right thing to do. I’d recommend looking at a 5-year fixed that pays out more regularly if you can for more stability especially where interest rates are at the moment. All the best!

You’ve done well to save to ensure that your pre pension years are covered but don’t forget that the state pension ££ you receive at 67 will not be increased as Thailand is not in the list of countries where you receive the increase. Thankfully many of the massive in line with inflation increases are baked in now… of course it’s nice to get the uplifts…. I believe you can spend some time in the Philippines that would allow the rises to be applied but the details are nuanced….

I can't believe people made criticisms of THOSE things you mentioned. People are weird. This video was all part of the story as far as I'm concerned. Looking at the fact this video seems to have far more recent comments than previous I've watched I would assume this channel has been recommended on the basis of other channels which are quite different and they are probably not use to the pace or type of content.
