The Corvette COMES TO LIFE After Getting it's FRESH Engine Into the Car!

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Hey Guys, Migs Here! In today’s video, we are back working on my 1974 corvette and I put the final touches on the engine after completely transforming it from an old greasy leaking engine to a all clean and refreshed motor, then we get it back into the car and do the first start! Great job! Where’s the naskart at? You should do a update with it and possibly bring it to a spot with your trailer

You are a trooper, Migs! Whenever something goes wrong, you fight through it, find a solution and fix it. And you always seem to have a smile on your face. Love your attitude!

I have an 81 corvette, the “thermostat” sticking out of the coolant spout is an EGR valve. When it gets hot it opens the vacuum lines to switch stuff on or off for the smog pump. It isn’t an actual thermostat for the coolant.

Run the coolant temp sensor wire along the intake, looks way cleaner and it’ll be fine I’ve always done that without it getting too hot, good job bro love the content and the vette especially. I started on small block chevys with my grandpa

Hopefully changing your transmission fluid doesn’t ruin your transmission. You know what they say don’t change it better to leave it

Not in a old manual trans. In a automatic with a valve body yes cause it can plug up small ports but in this case it’s perfectly fine

With that being said, don't take any shortcuts... I bought a 1979 C3 with almost 100K miles on it from a friend (at least he was at the time). I found so many things that were done in a haphazard, cheap, shoddy manner... I am restoring the driveline components and undercarriage from throwout bearing on back.Yes, mine is noisy, and going to replace it rather than get stranded someplace.
