you know the crazy thing is, the first time I smoked weed. It was so intense cuz my friend rips like crazy, that it was basically a spiritual experience. I felt every emotion, I cried like 4 times. I felt this intense discomfort where my entire body felt like there were spiders crawling inside of it. And when the discomfort hit, I vocalizing how afraid I was that it was never going to go away for the rest of my life. That I would be permanently fked up. My friends kept telling me to not fight it any of it. I kept trying to find answers in my discomfort and then when I found the answers I would experience intense euphoria. And there were like 10 of these waves. It felt like it lasted an entire night but it was maybe 3 hours. and one of my most important break throughs is also letting go of feeling judged. I can definitely say all my daily anxiety and loud voices in my head went away directly because of that experience.

Billy, just wanna relate, the most valuable things I’ve learned from heavy psychedelics came through treating myself for the PTSD they gave me lol. You’re wonderful and brave and I hope you take good care integrating this.

I have absorbed someone’s bad trip for them before it’s a real thing you can pass your good vibes to someone in a very physical way or they can pass their bad ones to you in an equally physical way. It’s such a bizarre experience

My first shroom trip was quite mild and fairly incomparable to Billy's, but I dosed an hour or two after my friends had dosed, and I was hungover, and I had a pretty bad trip, mentally speaking. During this time of my life and before the trip, I was quite socially anxious despite seeming quite extroverted outwardly. I couldn't help but consider exactly how what I'd say would be interpreted before I would say it, and I was convinced nobody actually liked me despite having a lot of solid friends. During the trup, and like Billy mentioned, I was ultra absorbed and concerned about what others were thinking about me to the extent I was torturing myself over other people's perceptions. I was convinced I'd peed myeslf, too. When I came out of that trip, the following few weeks I noticed feeling far more confident and less insecure and less concerned about other's perceptions of me. This has lasted for a very long time, but sometimes I feel those anxieties creeping back. My friend had a great analogy for these badder trips. It's like a workout for your mind, you struggled against your fears and anxieties, and then when you start coming down, you feel that relief and recognise you're still alive despite those fears and anxieties having felt so real, visceral and raw in the moment. You've struggled up a mountain in your mind or whatever and made it back down safely. And that's what leaves you with the lasting positive changes.

shrooms are great but heavy psychedelics just aren’t for me. the high is too long and when i want out, i gotta be able to get out. i cannot imagine doing ahayuasca. had a bad trip on acid one time with my close friends, my best friends boyfriend just randomly projectile vomited out of nowhere. it tanked everyone’s trip and it was like a nightmare. my best friend found me standing in the living room staring at a lamp and when she asked me how i was doing, i just looked at her and said “i am in hell” and went back to staring at the lamp lmao

“Just enjoy this (life sober) because it can get…pretty scary…” Indeed sir, spot the fu*k on 😅😂 After you get to a certain point with exploring life and your own psychology through drugs, you realize being sober is a trip in itself and sometimes ya just gotta focus on reality…because it’s enough 😅

Watched episodes 1 through 20 in one week after I saw them on Cody Ko. Never heard of Friday Beers till then. Love this show, despite the horrendous audio editing. Liam and Will were obviously hired for their ever-growing comedic ability… Emily was clearly not.

The bars I bought from my dealer at the time where called polkadot mushroom bars from doing research they make them in smaller bars and bigger ones and doing my research turns out a lot of them are synthetic mushroom bars and the big ones my dealer gave me was those so I ate shit that was unnaturally strong but nah fam since you don’t believe it means it didn’t happen I was lying you’ve caught me rats got had again 😔 😩 😭😭
