yea i wanted to try that on the thick angle to burn off the mill scale first... but the defilm option isnt available, which makes sense, you dont really see tubing with film that much

Oh yea, that thing is super sweet. Backstory. A few years back, the company that had it before spent $1M on all new ball screws, ball nuts, mechanical overhaul and CNC Retrofit. Then a couple years after that sold it for $125K to these guys that have it now.

Awesome shop and great laser/brake combo Gary! Doug is gonna be one busy boy!! At 60,000 parts per year, on a 5 day, 8 hour/day single shift, he has to cut 230 parts per day, or 28.8 parts per hour, every day, all year.

actually looking back at the info i jotted down its 40,000 parts. Doug has a plan to knock out the monthly order in 1 week out of each month, with the help of a couple extra bodies. We timed a couple sessions. In just less than 4 minutes, a sheet can be loaded, cut, unloaded and parts stacked and next sheet loaded. 12 parts every 4 minutes, thats 1800 parts per day in a 10 hour day.

Gary, thanks for the video! Love watching these. They're highly motivating for guys with small side gigs like I have. Question: My shop has a dedicated 200A 220V service. How reasonable is it to run a setup like this 6KV laser/compressor on my service. Do you sell a phase converter that would work?

How do you load the sheet metal to the cutting machine?

Have they thought about hooking this up to Robotics, I'm looking where i don't need to do any welding on my parrs. This way I'll be able to manufacturer my parts to fit together, bolting it together.. I'll have todo machine some of it, but i rather do it this way for easy access. I've been an mechanic and had limited access, so designing an better machine to where access is easier.

That’s amazing 🤩, I see your name on these machines, is that because you sell them or design? Very cool to have your name on these awesome machines.

Yea, I have created Brand Names "Bend/Force" Press brakes and "G/Force" lasers. Still refining the colors and sheetmetal designs. These are custom built with the specs and components specified based on my experience of what works well, what doesnt, etc.

I am wondering how this is even legal. Think of all the hazardous dust in the air. And operating the machine as a class 4 laser. Unbelievable.
