Truth is those drivers they we’re talking to they see every day. I’ve delivered there about a dozen of times and it’s always the same 5 to 24 hours to unload. I already know I just lay back down and wait for a call but they gonna get that money first! All of them are like that down there not just there!!!!!

I have been treated the same way in Florida after I moved there. I didn’t know how bad it was until I started experiencing it on a regular basis.

If the entire state of texas were to fall into the gulf and Rio Grand, it would not be a loss. My experience in that state is the most rude individuals in the country reside there. I do not understand why they have such an attitude towards others.

Please do not judge all Texans. I was born in Texas joined the military traveled all over the country and other places across the globe, and retired in San Antonio Texas after 25 years of service. I have experienced indifferent treatment in every state and country I have been in. However, I have experience a hundred times more kindness and respect from the people I have met along the way. We tend to focus on the negative so much that we don't see the good of Gods creation around us, especially in people.

I was at a McDonald’s in Laredo, Texas and a kid walked In the bathroom and pointed at me and said daddy he is black. I was like wtf lol and his dad did discipline him so it was all good

When my ex drove for CFI out of Joplin MO he'd deliver a lot to Larado and I was on the truck with him. He'd drop trailers in a yard near the border, but never unloads like you did.

Put that in the driver's notes are all drivers will know do not come back to this place😮😮😮😮

thats how places like laredo tx is, i know enough spanish where i can communicate my displeasure JIC they dont understand it in spanish.

I had the same experience in Laredo at an XPO facility. I had to wait around 2 days to get loaded. And yes all the Spanish speaking drivers got loaded immediately. But I was told by another non Spanish speaking driver that all you have to do is go into the office and have an XPO (English speaking) management official on the phone on speaker and start asking why you are still sitting there. So I did this and AMAZINGLY the shipper was oh sir it just got here please pull into so and so dock, and thus I got loaded. Very sad things are like this. Yet I also ended my trips to Laredo, all trips as I have come to find that a majority of businesses in that boarder area have started operating like this....But thankfully that leaves 1000's of other places to go.....

I hope there is some mechanism/process for you to be able to make some sort of report about the treatment you received at this Laredo receiver!

If i dont mess with a shipper / receiver its because they dont load me right meaning my count is off and i have to deal with osd. Other than that i account for those situations ahead

This is unfortunately common. You're not going to encounter it all the time but it is common in the industry as a whole. There's a lot of blatant bigotry and racism. I had to deal with that in the Northeast of all places
