@@flt31 I'm personally learning to let go of the need to pass judgement on others. I want to make correct observations but theres really no need to pass judgement. It doesn't really benefit anyone. it's really hard not to tho because the ego wants to feel morally superior to everyone in every way. You should check out this audio book here on yt called "33 steps to the infinite self" by Stuart Wilde it's really helping me with this concept of observation vs judgement. Thanks for the reply friend❤🤗

@@priscillaalexander498 Yes, that is largely true, Priscilla. If the egocentric one is really truthful at getting rid of ego, he will judge truthfully. There are universal truths on everything; it's just that people twist a universal truth to suit their own lusts and thus feel self-righteous in continuing in those untruths. Love you, too.

SUMMARY - How To Connect With Someone -Teal Swan- 1. Give the person you want to connect with unconditional, undivided presence and attention, you gift him your attention 2. use open body language, turn chest towards them, smile 3. become interested in other people. learn about them. pretend designing a manual them. 4. Seek out common ground. be attentive to recognize what you have common with the other person and choose this as topic 5. aim intimacy. intimacy = into me see feeling into the other person, understanding them 6. ask questions be sure the person you want to connect with, wants to connect with you too ask questions that reveal the persons inner world, ask about opinions, likes, dislikes, dreams, struggles, you want to aim to know this person for who they really are at the deepest level Avoid Only asking questions without answering them by yourself Dont ask questions to only talk about yourself 7. When they tell you about themselves receive them completely without trying to fix them or change their minds you want to listen to them fully with your heart, eyes, ear and with your mind provide a safe space to connect people are afraid to share their truths because they fear the consequences so let there be no consequence even if they disagree with your opinion treat their opinion as important fo them remind yourself that there is a valid reason that they feel that way antagonism kills connections people need their emotions received ----> emotional wake up call for how you approach emotions in realtionships 8. initiate Espacially as man, if you dont you reversed your polarity do shadow work on rejection Go up to the people you want to connect with Secret: nearly everyone on earth is insecure and afraid to speak first 8. Be honest, genuine and authentic transparency rules the day when it comes to connection pay them a genuine (!) compliment to establish connection people feel if you are not genuine put not your best food forward but your usual food, because you cant hold up a fassade forever If you put your best food forward or a fassade they will be dissolutioned later The scariest thing for people is to pretense people notice when you dont feel what you say or show 10. Be open Openness is emotional generosity If you want to connect to somebedy you must them allow to come fully into you and to go fully into them this creates a space of vulnerability which is scary You will never be able to connect if you dont risk that vulnerability The isolated, lonely living way disconnected from people is not worth the risk of loosing them or meeting with negative events 8:30 (?) Isolation is the most painful feeling If you are resistant to open, figure out what you are trying to hide and why what are you ashamed or afraid of? should you be ashamed for any aspect of yourself that is true? you cant hide things forever tell first instead of dissolution later besides you want to connect with all of you The real point of connection is to find someone who wants to be with your positive and negative sides, not someone who needs you to be positive to love you, this is conditional love Include them in your life, offer them information about yourself even if they dont ask for it to make them feel included by you Share your passion with the other person demonstrating passion opens people up to you and often makes them feel inspired and energized 11. relate to them be compassionate towards them and find ways to validate their reality, to validate themselves as a person it is said that its not good to merge with a person to feel their emotions but Teal disagrees this is only a problem for people who are unwilling to feel emotions or are shaky in their identity To truly connect with someone you have to be willing to feel what they feel, to know what they know, to see what they see this sounds scary but is the door to connection be willing to walk in their shoes Visualize being them, seeing the world with their eyes, their beliefs, their feelings etc. Pay special attention to the fact that sometimes when we think they were related to somebody all we're actually doing is using the story that they're telling us to tell our story so we're actually not really interested in what they're going to say we just want to use it as a segue to talk about ourselves we are much more interested in them hearing our story then we are not having them feel heard and understood this make them feel insignificant like you just use them as a stage to stand upon and crew if you want them to care about your experience you got to genuinely care about there's still completely clear of reinforcing the idea that you don't understand their Viewpoint some well-meaning people do eg. The man expresses that they never knew their family you jump in and say oh how sad I love my family they were awesome I just didn't know where I'd be without them so she my mom you just created separation not connection you just made them feel alone in their opinion or feeling 12. Be thoughtfull and mindful of the other person be demonstrative with your love dont expect them to know that you like them when you dont show it most of us even though we like people we don't really show it we don't demonstrate it and then we expect the other person to know that we care about them we have to stop expecting that if we really want connection we have to actually put forth energy to remember dates that are significant to remember things that they told us from previous conversations to make sure that we have learned them enough to know if they like it so that we can get them things they like to spend quality time with them or to know that they might need a hug and so we give them one make them up Make sure that people you actually want to connect with are important and a priority to you be helpfull where you can be helpful make sure that you dont need them to be fixed if you help ---> help or not to help video 13. practice exuding warmth to other people exercise choose a stranger on the street and find something about him you appreciate Say to yourself: I love you for ___ Then say menatally WHY you like that finish with: I love you for that imagine sending that energy out your heart chakra towards them as if sending the message as an invisible signal Do this exercise this with as many people as you can important is to really feel the appreciation this causes a ripple in the collective consciousness and you will be absolutely surprised about just have different your interactions with people will be

+Sebastian exercise to completely merge souls with another person both have to consciously absolutely want to connect 1. Remove all jewelry especially protection crystals, do it naked with a partner sit down cross leged in front of one another watching in the eyes Loosely connect your hands and arms 2. eyes open or with your eyes closed imagine or sense or feel each one of your chakras starting with the base going all the way up through the 7th if you'd like to extend beyond that you can go ahead 3. Visualize those chakras opening then you're visualizing or feeling or something breathing in the other person's energy through each one of your chakras you can start with one then move to the next then to the next we want to get to the point where we are literally feeling ourselves breathing the fullness of that other person's energy through our chakra system simultaneously 4. begin to sense or see or feel your identity dissolving this can be a very frightening step for the ego which is the cause for seperation what I am teaching you to do right now is to fully merge with someone to fully merge you have to be willing to let go of your own singular identity so don't be surprised if fear comes up it's okay to just be present with the fear be okay with it being there and continue just the same the ego thinks that connection means that it will die we have to quite literally decide that connection is more important than living and the connection is worth the risk of death it takes immense bravery we have to decide that it is better to have connection and to lose it than never to have it at all to be able to do this part of the exercise and the rest that is to follow 5. look each other directly in the eyes the point is to look through their people then you decide who takes the journey first journeyer we decide who's going to be the journeyer and who is going to be the receiver Juniors job is to take their Consciousness into the other person the receiver's job is to open up and allow the jouneyer to come in with their Consciousness to The journeyer enters the receiver to the pupil of the eye and is sinking into a black hole if struggle to do so, break concentration holding each other heart by heart breathing energy back and forth to break barriers the receiver Focuses on inviting the journeyer in breathing the journeyer in and imagines or senses or feels themselves opening up to take them in the receiver simply focuses on allowing surrender and on the feeling of the Journeyers presence entering them journeyer focuses on using their Consciousness to penetrate deeper and deeper into the person like exploring a foreign Planet with curiosity and non-judgmental the journeyer projects love and gratitude into the receiver as they move deeper convying any messages mentally emotionally or energetically that they feel would help the receiver to open up further or any message they feel the receiver needs to hear I want to stress that you can see these messages in the mind or say them out loud for example as the journeyer if you feel like you hit a wall or somebody's not letting you in it because they're afraid you're going to leave it might be beneficial for you to say I'm never going to leave you also if you're struggling to go in the journeyer to the other person it might be beneficial for you to drop your own self-interest and actually focus on what the other person has that is an unmet need and how you might go about meeting those needs if you completely focus on the other person what they need and I'm exploring them then sometimes that's enough to get us beyond our barriers to going into someone because we know that we're serving a purpose so the ego will back it up your walls and blockages to connection will all come up for both these walls are belief patterns and emotional patterns that have resulted from life trauma These can be visual or mental or feeling this is especially true because most people are multi-layered as you sink in them As did you enter into the mule experience and layer after layer after layer as you sink into deeper and deeper and deeper layers within them some light some dark some positive feeling some negative feeling and in front of some of these layers are energetic and emotional walls when you encounter a while your first perogative is to completely become aware of it you want to learn from it you need to know why a wall is there consciousness dissolves subconsciousness because once the subconscious becomes conscious the Consciousness goes to work dissolving it What is the wall trying to prevent? why has it choosen this feeling or disappearance? let your intuitiion speak to you handing you insight, each wall you encounter subconscious wall cannot withstand consciousness they begin to dissolve facing consciousness you can reassure this wall that it's okay to dissolve but it doesn't need to exist anymore there are multiple ways of breaking down walls better love a wall into state of dissolving instead of breaking it some walls dont feel like walls, more like plastic barriers or fuzzles or electric barriers honor the fact if a wall does not want to come down sometimes this is needed to come down if we cant pass a wall we can focus the receiver breaking the wall down 10. best way to get through these layers is to melt through them you melt by completely allowing yourself to be present with what we are experiencing, especially what this particular layer feels like release resistance to it completely eg. layer of numness - feel numness, be with it, let it consume you and melt through it be present with fear if it comes up, let it consume you, be completely ok with it you have to become perfectly ok with what you experience either you match the frequency of the layer you are in or you match the frequence of the eternal soul or higher self descend lovingly and embrace your way through each one, trust your intuition what the receiver needs As the journeyer we see, feel, and hear the receiver comnpletely as the receiver we want to be heard, felt, seen, understood completely let fear occupy the space between both of you as it it has been held by you,, taken care of you the exercise takes as long as we feel have gone through the other person completely most often this means to go through every layer, returning to the eternal source aspect (god) at least it is important to end after having entered a positive layer withdrawing can traumatize the receiver further 27:00 Sometimes it takes 4 hours dont do this with strangers, do it with people you trust do this when you want a deeper connection with someone especially your partner be prepared for all of your shadows of loneliness and isolation to come in the wake of this process connection flushes to the surface anything like it so it may be integrated into your conscious awareness does of the path of healing but the path of healing is not always comfortable so it is important if you're sure this connection to really be there for each other in the wake of the experience especially in the following week or month this has to be used very carefully and kind we are not trusted with the authentic truth of another human being they have entered it under his face it was to give themselves to us both their power and their fealty we must honor that trust as if we are not in the space of Integrity separation is the real hell on Earth and the worst version of that hell is when we feel an internal sense of isolation even though we are physically surrounded by other people this is the very condition that so many of us experience today connection is in fact the antidote to suffering we need to be willing to be completely with each other regardless of whether we are in a space of pain or we are in a space of joy switching roles Thanks Teal

Not only can I tell she’s studied these things very in depth but she also has a keen understanding of human nature. This video should be seen by every human on the planet. What kind of world would we live in if everybody practiced this video as a mantra towards life everyday? I personally think the world would be so much more connected and passionate. This happens so often. I wish I had an answer for it, but unfortunately my answer so far has been limiting my time with the people who behave this way. In some cases, cutting them out completely. Of course, I only do so with fair warning, letting them know I don't feel heard or cared for. Unfortunately, the ones I had to have this sort of conversation with were unwilling or unable to step up their game, so out they went.

I tried this yesterday with someone who I knew that would want to connect with me in a deeper level. We have a deep friendship, so it's not someone I just met. We have a high level of trust and no-judgement towards one another. It was an exhausting, informative and interesting activity. At first, I felt nervous so we decided it would be easier for me to start as the journier. But I want to share my experience as the receiver, since that is the one I feel allowed to share. We didn't talk out loud during the concentration state. He went in with me and I showed him different scenes from my childhood. I cried when we went through certain scenes together because I felt myself in that emotional state again. I actually didn't know those things affected me so hard when I was younger. I knew those events where there in my memories but I hadn't realized the level of impact they had in my life until I went there again with him. He never left my side and that was a relief and felt so, so good... I didn't feel lonely anymore because he was there with me. Then he asked me to move on to something that made me feel happy and we went through other memories that involved talking with my best friend (a girl I knew when I was eight years old), which I love deeply. I shared with him so much more that I would be able to had I used words only. Then we got out of concentration and went in again. It felt natural and going in again was easier. When he was in again, I felt so much gratitude that I told him with my mind "Thank you for being here with me, for not leaving me alone or leaving me in an unpleasant emotional state. Thanks so much for letting me in, for sharing your memories with me. I feel like I know you so much better know, and that we are being so brave doing this". He listened, got out and hugged me. This is not an exercise to do only once. Before we started, we agreed that when we found a wall, we would honor and respect it and try to get through it in a loving way IF AND ONLY IF the receiver wanted to. If not, we would move on to another place. This respect is absolutely crucial. I think this is a very healthy exercise, because you can get to identify where are your own walls. Then you can work on them (because you now know where they are) by doing this exercise again or using other methods. But know that you've identified the issue, you won't project it into another person or situation as easily, since you understand yourself a little bit better. I also have to say that we did this yesterday at noon and at midnight I still felt mentally tired, I felt like my heart was tired. Today I still feel a little bit tired. I'm so glad you did this video and article, Teal. Thanks so much. Really. Sometimes I feel you post exactly what I need when I need it. This is certainly one of those times. Thanks.

    D. Sch., your question leads me to mention a few interesting things. He was able to project in my awareness an image: it was a river, and I was aware of a body of water (I didn't figure out that it was a especifically a river) and the heat of the sun in my skin, which was actually uncomfortable. He actually managed to project several images into my mind, and when we discussed those images, he confirmed my visualizations as correct or very close to what he thought of (of course I could not see the entire set of images as a movie, but I did see several images). On the other hand, he said he could not see so many specific images (although he saw me as a little girl and then as a teen) but rather described the emotions we felt while going into my emotional body, and he did it with very high precision. He could actually describe the different feelings I had during the process, because he was able to set his vibrations exactly to match mine. Finally, the only images we both able to project super clearly in one another awareness were the walls. We found various walls throughout the process. There was a point when I was the journier and said to him: "we reached a brick wall" and he said: "that was exactly what I pictured, a wall especifically made out of bricks".

Intimacy is not just about the other person, it's also about knowing yourself and being able to share that with others. Trying to be intimate with someone that is running away from themself is nearly impossible. Intimacy can also be broken down to 'Into-Me-I-See', for measuring any characteristic about human is how well do they treat themself? One's self-respect determines how much respect they can have for others.

Great video Teal, connections is something I really struggle with. I want to connect with people, all people in my life, however it is extremly difficult because of a huge amount of resistance. In my experience people build walls around themselves to kept people out so that others are not able to hurt them. Once you open yourself to connecting with people you are open to being hurt by them. This is a very difficult thing to overcome.

Dear Teal, I've been watching a lot of your videos and so grateful for your sharing your wisdom us all. Personally I feel connection is way more important and valuable than communication. I've learned that communication is superficial unless it accompanies connection. We all have the ability to connect in a meaningful way to each other. This is one of the critical life skills that we should all have and be taught!

My ex spent a good part of his time withdrawn from me, especially after a long week at the office. He needed space to recharge right when I needed to connect. He had no idea he was emotionally shut down with his walls up. I immediately felt this as withdrawal and would ask him if everything was alright and he would appear puzzled and say yes, I’m just tired and maybe he was but there was zero connection. I felt so lonely. I felt more lonely with him than when I was alone. After listening to this I understand why. He said I was over reacting and imagining things, even when all I did was ask him if everything was alright. He always denied that he was anything but tired, which I now understand was burned out to the point connection was painful, I suspect from trying to be an extrovert all week. Thank you Teal.

I just came across teal yesterday and already i feel the deep shifts in my core. First I am being more honest with myself. Instead of avoiding my reality & trying to change it before I even try to understand it. I’m choosing to be more curious about myself than to feel guilty for being the way I am.. I watched videos about Carl Jung for years, I have listened to different people speak, different gurus and wisdom speakers, philosophers and other people on KZread give advice but none have had the influence Teal has had on me. I’ve watched her videos, I take notes, and I am actually practicing. She’s made it very practical which is something I am finally accepting in myself. I need practical because it’s hard for me to do anything. I love to be entertained by personal growth and development and just watching was enough satisfaction for me to feel as if I’m putting in effort..it’s time to be real lol I’m not getting anywhere my life has been the same no matter how many enlightening videos I watch. I end up ruminating instead of taking action and after coming across Teal I was able to tap into my curiosity rather than self shame and bash…it feels great! :) im excited to continue on this journey every single day. Im excited to getting to know myself and ask questions and look deeper into my own psyche instead of regurgitating the same process I’ve been stuck in/ Im ready for true change and that will only happen when I put in work - and for me that work is being curious of myself and my tendencies. Simply questioning why I feel some way before telling myself to stop. Im starting to validate myself by acknowledging this is what it is, and then asking why and where do these feelings come from. Thank you teal/ thank you community. Im grateful for having come across her and im excited to continue the process 🤟🏽

Lots of people these days tend to try and take advantage of openess. If everyone was open like I am (ahem WE ARE), then we would not have this problem. Just remember that when you notice someone is starting to take advantage of you, remember to ask them why they feel the need to do that and then move on, and don't hate or be angry for they know no better. Be forgiving, people.

Throughout my life. I have been the one trying to connect, but as you say Teal, those who are not willing/ready can make it much worse. So when I have tried to connect, I have ended up hurting myself further, and ended up completely isolating myself. As I have done now. But recently, I asked the Universe for someone who will unconditionally love and understand me, and very quickly my wish was answered. Perhaps in not the most perfect way, but close enough! Lol I just want you to know Teal I love you so very much, and I STILL want to see you and connect with you. I am not scared. As you said I am not scared of death, just the rejection. Because rejection is like death. But the more I follow your teachings, the more my consciousness opens and recognizes. I experienced a lot of those walls you were mentioning WHILE watching your video. Because I have an intense attraction towards you, towards your soul, towards your energy. It is like a magnet, and my own fears and ego try to give negative meaning to those fears, such as rejection. But the truth is I love you and everything you have done for me and everyone! I admire you so very very greatly. I cried when I saw your trailer that looked like a movie about your life. I even showed it to someone who is not particularly fond of me, and cried in front of them without the fear of rejection. I express my emotions and energy in the way you described, to approach someone fully open, just to be cast away, can be as painful as death. and yes it does end up in isolation which is very painful. I will try my best to continue trying to connect, instead of isolating myself. My desire to connect with YOU has not changed and hopefully we will one day have the chance to perform the connection ritual you described ( doesn't have to be naked) lol but yes, I crave that, my soul craves it, thank you for yet another wonderful guidance and lesson to my soul spirit. You are the universe as so am I, You are in me, and I am in you. whether i feel it or not. Its real, and it is stronger than any ego or wall! LOVE!

@Mary Smith I know this is super late but I wanted to ask you boyyyeeeeee things are going with you and your husband and connecting. I went through this same thing and it almost ended my marraige. Chances are that there is hidden guilt on either or both sides. Anything that u would feel guilt about needs to come out and him the same. Be able to come at it already knowing u are willing to forgive anything and u just want to connect and grow. One everything is wiped clean and u guys can be honest with eachother, connection will come alot easier. Also alot of times the man is doing everything in his eyes to show u love and eventually just gets burnt out from not getting anything back and tricks himself to just being ok with it. And will go on thinking nothing is wrong. There was a disconnect somewhere and now there is just past things that are in the dark making it impossible to connect. Sit down and have a heart to heart and speak truth and voice your want for connection while also apologizing for your part in not communicating right and fighting in the right way for your marraige. Alot of times you are both pouring out love and trying your best but your partner doesn't speak that love language so therefore does not recieve any of it. Good luck! Hope all is well!

HI Teal :) I love your videos so much . You're so enlightened and beautiful 😇❤️ my name is karla I'm 20 yrs old . I relate to this video so much that I feel compelled to ask for your help . The thing that really use to hold me back from connecting with people is the scars that are on my arm from self harm . That's what I'm ashamed of .. It's especially hard because it's so visible so when I wear long sleeves I feel different . I'm so loving with people and love to talk to people and get to know them . They say that they love my presence and I'm happy that they feel that way . I'm doing a lot better socially .. I use to be very isolated . I recently started to go on medication called Prozac which increases the chemical in my brain called seratonin. It's really helped me . I kind of do my own therapy . I've always read a lot of books so I learn a lot every day. You're also my form of therapy . I've always wanted to get tattoos or something to cover my arm up but recently I've just been wearing short sleeves proudly and staying the same way as if I were wearing long sleeves. Somebody has noticed them and I just said that they're old . How should I really feel about my scars ? I try so hard to maintain my positivity and it gets hard sometimes . I don't like the idea of being judged. It's a fear of mine .. How do I explain something like that . Do I make up an excuse ? Or proudly say that I survived depression for 7 years of being left untreated ? I feel proud but also ashamed so it's difficult for me to know how to really feel about it . I'm going to continue learning from you while simultaneously feeding my soul . 💕💕🙏🏽🙌🏽

+Karlita Flores, Dear Karlita i really want to say you should be proud of your past it is not something you are but something you went through and if you embrace it, it only makes you stronger and more beautiful today and almost everyone has scares and if people judge you then they are really judging themselves because of their own scars within, the only difference is they dont wear their´s on their body, but the people that are connected to themselves will see you for who you are today, a beautiful being that faces her problems but i think you already know this, hope this helps, light and love :)

Three things: I was just thinking earlier this week of how I don't feel connected with anyone, and this is exactly what I needed. Yay! :p Two, will you do a video about periods? I understand it's a bit random, but I would like to know what's going on on an energetic level. I know things like diet play into it, but why do things like aches, cramps, cravings, and odd emotions happen? What is the energetic purpose (cause?) of periods? And the third thing is: You're wearing nail polish! I don't think I've ever seen you with your nails done in a video. It looks cute! (Kind of a nail polish fanatic here. ;)

Interesting topic about periods. I red that this is a sickness. As much toxins have in a body, as more strong and painful periods. And women, who became raw vegans stop having periods, as body became clean. There are a lot of information about it, i suggest you to read, very interesting. Namaste

I thought so to, but if you read up on the studies and science, it actually makes sense. The cleaner your body becomes, the less toxins you have to dispel. Also, hormones can cause painful PMS and periods, so stabilizing them would result in less pain. I read some studies that the uterus lining can be absorbed into the body instead of shed through a period, but if it's filled with toxins, the body will not have a need to absorb it, and it would be better shedding it. I suggest you do your own research and come to your own conclusions about what causes periods. When I did a search, I searched "periods while vegan" and read the more scientific studies. I think it would benefit you to drop judgment on good out bad, and just see what you find. Have a wonderful day! :p

FemBot, that's a great way to look at it. I've never really hated my period, but I've not celebrated it either. (I tend to forget I'm on my period, (because I don't feel anything) and then I forget to change the pad...so many almost-accidents!) Celebrating sounds like a fun idea, so I'll give that a try. Thanks! :P
