    @@ctwarboss6913 you seem to misunderstand the context of the famine. Before the British turned up there were regular famines in India, just about every 40 years like clockwork. Once the Brits arrived though, their management helped hold off famine until the one great famine, and that was in the middle of a war.

    The Connaught Rangers mutinied in India in June 1920 during the Anglo-Irish War 1919-21. Which is perfectly understandable as the occupying British forces in Ireland were murdering innocent Irish men, women, and children during the 1919-21 war.
