The Cone-Shaped Houses of Alberobello, Italy and Harran, Turkey

Two towns far away - one in Alberobello in Italy, the other - Harran in southeastern Turkey, have similar cone-shaped houses.
The houses in Alberobello, Puglia, Italy are called trulli and they are made of limestone slabs without any mortar. Alberobello and its trulli are listed on the UNESCO World Heritage list.
The town of Harran in southeastern Turkey has more than 4 millennia of history and today it is mostly famous for its beehive houses. Reliefs from the 7th century BC show buildings similar to the beehive houses, but today most beehive houses are from the 20th century with the oldest from the mid-19th century.
Recorded May 2023 and October 2022 in 4K Ultra HD with Sony AX700 and DJI Pocket 2.

    Merci Milosh de me faire revoir Alberobello qui m’’a tellement émerveillée que j’y suis retournée 3 fois. J’adore la région des Pouilles . Heureuse de voir que c'est toujours aussi beau. A ma 1ère visite, les trulli étaient encore habités et on nous faisait visiter. Tout était très joli avec de beaux rideaux fleuris. Puis, cela c’est transformé en boutiques désertées le soir. Mais toujours magnifiquement fleuri et entretenu. Salutations à vous.

    Italy and Turkey are very interesting,in Italy exist many roman ruins,rural villages and castles,and Turkey mix historical places with natural landscapes and beaches. I has seen documentaries in english,i saw documentaries about the mongol empire,meiji restoration and ottoman empire.
