I wonder what Carol thinks when she sees her daughter out doing her job and so well, to see her transform into the woman she is. She seems to be down to earth yet regal at the same t time, and approachable. Respectful of the Royal way of life and protocol yet brings a naturalness to it as well

Charles wasn’t forbidden to marry Camilla. If he had put his foot down,as he later would do, he could have gotten his way, but Camilla actually wanted to marry Andrew-Parker Bowles who was the most eligible bachelor of the time. Diana was sure that she would marry Prince Andrew when she grew up. Her family took to calling her Dutch because they were also sure she would marry Andrew and become a Duchess. Once Diana realized that she could actually catch Charles, the chase was on and facilitated by her family. Diana feigned interest in Charles’ interests and hobbies (Balmoral, fishing hunting, etc.)-basically, she pretended to be who Camilla is, a hunting, shooting, fishing, reading country girl. Then as soon as they were on their honeymoon (most of which was at Balmoral), Diana declared each of his interests as borrrring. When the honeymoon moved on to Balmoral she would have have fits of screaming and crying when he wouldn’t do what she wanted when she wanted him to do it (the court was at Balmoral for the summer so there was official business going on and many witnesses). After the honeymoon she proceeded to, one by one, separate him from his friends (he would give in to avoid conflict with her), then his staff (who would quit because she would not look at or speak to those she wanted to leave. In her mind, she loved him, but then attempted to change everything about him, and if he wanted any kind of peace, he would comply. Diana and her family, particularly the Spencers, were very ambitious and misrepresented who she was to the RF, particularly regarding her emotional health & stability. The Spencer’s actually had a bit of a reputation for unstable men (Diana’s mom cited abuse in the divorce), but the RF didn’t think the mental issues affect the Spencer women. Diana actually refused to cooperate with mental health professionals provided by the RF when they realized how unstable she was, and wouldn’t accept mental health help for years (yes, the RF tried to get her professional help) until a friend threatened to out her bulimia to the press because she was afraid it would kill her. And that is just how she treated Charles. As a grown woman she held hostility towards her mother for leaving her abusive father (her mother took Diana & her brother with her but lost custody), pushed her 60 year old stepmother down the stairs (long after Diana married btw), threw her stepmother’s things out the window in trash bags after her father died, fired one staff for claiming expenses with the palace for some trips with Diana (completely legitimate expenses), and fired another who was the currier delivering tapes to Andrew Morten for her for accepting reimbursement from the publishing company. The virginal “Shy Di” persona was completely a creation of a press. A bit like the common impression that the Queen Mother “sweet ol’granny.”

Her blatant relationship with Roddy Llewellyn (and others) was as embarrassing or more so than the behaviours of those who followed her. She was a chain smoker and had a member of staff following her around with an ashtray. Did she ever do much in the way of charitable work, which was after all the reason why working Royals are paid? Nobody was allowed to call her by her Christian name. She demanded to be called Ma'am by everyone except some of the more favoured were allowed to call her Ma'am Darling. It didn't work out well for her. She had every advantage and was the architect of her own demise.

They are an awesome long-term couple, aren't they ?❤️👸🏼🤴🏻❤️ Up and downs are in all relationships, but millions couples would wish to understand and love each other like the King Charles and Queen Camilla proofed they do. Enviable. More than 30 % of all marriages are divorced every year since 1986 and earlier. Meanwhile it should be 40 %. More than 150.000 every year in Britain and Wales since more than 36 years.

Related to her country - She might have been a good queen . But, as a mother in law of a very young bride like Diana she was not a good mother - in law especially she s a queen ! an older woman , why she did not understand the pain of a young woman betrayed by her husband ???. Diana was too young and her 1st man was Charles - Diana was a virgin when she married Charles . Elizabeth preferred Charles to marry Diana because Diana was still a virgin , that's Royal regulations.....! Why Elizabeth did not know that Diana was too young , no experience to be wife , Elizabeth has refused to help Diana when she approached her for help .That s heartless ! She s lucky having a good husband and she did not care about the heart breaking of the others !. As a queen , what message she wants to send to the youngs when betrayed by husband ? .She's a Catholic woman ,.she seems.not care about the Christian rules ? Divorce is unacceptable??!! Her silence ,.not interference drew a divorce of Charles and Diana !

You do know that Diana was, struggling with mental health issues, borderline personality and paranoia being some of them.. and was the main reason, that her marriage was a living hell, to both herself and mostly her husband... I am a big fan of Diana.. she had great ideas!!! She was no saint, but a human!!! Saying that she was honest and respectfu to the Queen is just not the truth. She was working with people from the media, under most of her marriage.. and she was spreading a lot of misinformation and Lies, in tabloids, books and interviews.. Sorry but Harry is doing, what his mother did to Charles and the Queen.( he is just stupid to) Try to go back over just, some of her claims , and put it into the timeline!!! The last couple of years, she was getting her life, and mental health issues, under more control...(I respect her enormously for that, that must have been a hard struggle) King Charles is the one with great Hart, and his have been so respectful to Diana's( his boys mother) memories. There is so much evidence of her behaviour, and extensive infidelity, and he has chosen not to use it... Not even to rehabilitate his or his wife's image.. and Frankly he could easily have done that!!! Maybe you could read, Lady Campbell's book "the real Diana" , Penny Junor's book " the Duchess " and Angela Lavin book" from outcast to queen consort " I know that lady Campbell also wrote a book called " Diana in private" ( the first book about Diana) but I haven't read it yet myself... I actually think that king Charles has been dreading that Harry maybe, has some of the same mental health issues as his mother... And it is the reason that he has been, trying to help him, and praying

Until a VERY recent change, the line has always passed down the male line. Queens only happened in the absence of male heirs. However a recent change now means that should anything happen to Prince George, Princess Charlotte would succeed to the throne.

Diana did everything with the utmost character and grace, a way of dealing with the pressure of living as a princess in the Royal family. Something her youngest son desperately needs to learn as The Duke of Sussex. His wife, who'll not be named, will NEVER have the capability to capture the hearts of the entire world. Diana had always been put in a difficult position as a young bride to her philanthropic endeavors. She was always her own person, once her marriage began to crumble, until her unfortunate passing. As a "Yank" she felt like my princess too and I looked up to her. I'll never forget where I was learning she passed. Rest in Peace incredible lady and thank you for your inspiration. 💜💖💜

If Charles ever took duty and responsibility seriously, Diana would still be here. Facts.
