The Old Republic era is so rich with lore. It always blows my mind. I wouldn't wish it upon anyone to try and tackle it. You would need a decade of trilogies, live action and animated tv shows, and comic books to even do it any sort of justice

But I don’t care, the arcs seem to all shake out ok in my head, and even though I started out scattered, patterns and names are starting to fall into place. And I’m loving it, it’s so enjoyable. I gave up on the theater films after not finishing Solo, found these OR Lore channels, fan films, comics, audios, novels, etc, and haven’t looked back. Yeah, a series - or a bunch of series - would be super interesting. Perhaps Inside Star Wars, Vader’s Fortress, EckhartsLadder, GreyJedi91, The Stupendous Wave, et al, could chum up and write the screenplays! 😮 Guaranteed to stay true and consistent and do it justice. Anything but dizzknee.

Imagine how hard rey would get clapped if she fought against old republic lords.

Even if it’s legends, the old republic era is still canon.

Great video but there are two points of contention, one minor and one major. The minor one is that the Rakatan plague severed their connection to the Force, which explains their rapid collapse (just a small detail). The major one is that Scourge did betray Revan, but never for power. During the confrontation between Revan, Scourge, and Meetra against the Emperor, Scourge received a vision: that a great Jedi Knight would destroy the Emperor but it would not be Revan. Scourge betrayed Revan to convince the Emperor that he could be trusted so he could one day help that Jedi Knight to destroy the Emperor

i wanna point out that Revan and Malak weren't their pre-Sith names. We don't know Revan's real name, but Malak's was Alek. Also, Revan only wanted to conquer the Republic to be able to mobilize it against Vitiate's Empire.

Massive oversight to miss the Exar Kun war. Also the Sith Triumvirate leave Malacore 5 not Dramand Kaas. Revan actually leaves before kotor 2. Scourge also betrays Meetra and Revan because he sees a vision in the force that they fail but the hero of Tython will win with his help. So he needed the immortality the emperor gave him. Outside of those super great and solid video!

Revan, Korriban, Malak, The Emperor and his kids, Thyton as the core place of the Light and Dark users of The Force, the changes in philosophy, architecture, rulers on each major planet, conflicts, reasons, visions, interactions... my god! Such a rich place to get more movies from!! They should consider bring some of these as part of the canon and get rid of the "family strucure" as the Force source crap The Force Wars, the 4 waves of chism on the Jedi side, the ever changing way to structure the Sith society (only a "superior" race uses the Force, but in time, even slaves were acepted as Sith. Open to secret Empire, Spiritual Lords and their eternal secrets)... the material is vast as hell!

Dude none of this should be canon. Disney completely fucked up and failed everything after episode 6 there were so many great things that happened after especially the legacy of the Skywalker's and solos along with the Yuu Zong Von and Abeloth. And especially Darth Kryat and the one sith but they COMPLETELY fucked up everything! So do you truly want them to touch the Old Republic era which was the golden age of all of star wars?

The old Republic feels like ancient star wars where there were thousands of jedi and sith just fighting each other

What about exar kun and the great schism and the dozens of other sith wars and jedi civil wars?

I would argue that the old republic games at least are cannon because ea is it's publisher and they've also published Jedi fallen order and the battlefront games, which are cannon. Also when Disney took over they canceled all things that weren't theirs and aren't cannon. The old republic mmo is still alive and getting updates which I believe makes it and therefore it's previous games knights of the old republic 1 and 2 cannon as well.

Not really some of the Sith Lords existed in canon, that's all we know from the Sith Trooper Battalions being named after them. We don't know if the events are still the same.
