Wanna kindly correct you. I know I’m late, but I wouldn’t call Furtado a one era wonder with Loose since her debut album sold 6 million copies, gave her two VERY successful hits and to top it all off a Grammy. Something Loose didn’t have. 😅 Your right about Fergie though, and I like Fergie. Sincerely, a pop addict. But yeah, Kylie and Paula definitely should’ve been on there. And also Shania Twain.

Oh my goodness yes Paula Abdul not being on. This is a crime. She was definitely a main pop girl between 1988 and 91 with six number one hits and two multiplatinum albums. Believe it or not when billboard did their list of most successful artists on the Hot 100. Paula's impact was so powerful that she actually so passed some successful artist of today like Chris Brown, who is a chart monster. Cyndi Lauper, Taylor Dayne , you could've also included Gloria Estefan both solo and with the time machine ...come on now

And yeah some of the really big artists now are great, but the music you hear on the radio, in stores, on playlists generally and in the gym, it's the most boring safe music I have heard in my entire life, boring beyond belief honestly. And there's this trend of vibe music that doesn't even have a chorus. I also don't think hip hop has been good in quite some time. So overall I still think music is at a bad place.
