I was the only person I knew that watched Impact at the time and when I told my brother about it he said they weren't real wrestling but once Christian left WWE and went to TNA he took them more seriously

This was an interesting awesome time for me. Would stay home on Saturday nights. Probably saved my life as a high school a few times. Would look forward to seeing this product at my young age

@@andrewclayterman6230 yes and it's so sad how WWE treated him too. Remember when the Brood joined the Ministry of Darkness they had to sacrifice someone and it was Christian...officially making Christian feel like the third wheel in the Brood.

Cornette era TNA had some of the best TV in the company's history.

Christian Cage's TNA was a golden wrestling era! Can't think of a run so incredible from start to finish! It's a shame TNA wasn't able to keep growing after he left.

They did keep growing their highest ratings was like a year or 2 after Christian left, it was after that when they stopped growing

Tomko was a beast back in the day.

Both times Christian left wwe for another company, he became so much better. Man’s currently doing the best work of his career.

Yep 2004/2005-2009 I agree, 2010 and the arrival of Bischoff/Hogan, Dixie Carter being more involved on screen/in story lines, Jeff Jarrett losing power, Jim Cornette and Dutch Mantel leaving is when it started going down hill.

Christian Cage made me a wrestling fan again. I remember flipping channels in High school and seeing cage on TV on spike TV on a Saturday night. I was like, this ain’t WWE. I starred to tune in to every week and fell in love with the x division, getting to see Sting in action. Seeing a young AJ, a young Joe, a young Daniel’s, Roode. Seeing the quickness of sun jay dutt, the potential of Jay Lethal. I can go on and on, but love to see Christian finally getting all eyes on him and seeing what he can bring and what he meant to the growth of TNA/Impact. Thank you for uploading this!!!

Don't think he'll ever win the AEW title which is fine as not everyone needs to win that. But he's going to redefine the TNT title with his reign and hopefully make it meaningful again which is a great legacy to leave in AEW in and of itself if that's the case.

First thing I said when I saw him manipuate Luchasaurus to side with him over Jungle Boy was how he misses Tomko.

Most underrated wrestler in history. He's the only reason i watch AEW now 🤟

Yeah everyone keeps saying his run in aew is his best but I think tna was his best work

It would be great at that time if Christian holds the NWA title and AJ Styles and tomko the tag team championship at same time.

I had a lot of memories of Christian’s coalition back in the day, and I think Christian cage in aew is ready to form his version of the judgement day, he already has luchasaurus all he needs is someone for the women’s division and another mid-card fighter to complete it

Smartest thing TNA is doing right now is making youtube movies of their storylines. Every company should do this.

Right now is the best run of Christian’s career imo. I don’t even watch AEW but I intentionally look for all Christian clips on YT because he’s on another level right now.

Late-2007. Kurt debuted in TNA in 2006 and challenged Christian for the NWA World Championship that same year heading into 2007. Christian formed his faction and Jeff Jarrett returned at Lockdown in April. Kurt reignited his feud with Samoa Joe and went on to win all the titles following assistance of Karen and John Cena's cousin, thus leading to the eventual creation of The Angle Alliance. Kurt later formed the Main Event Mafia in late-2008.

It was probably 2007 when I found out about TNA. I remember Christian Cage and he’s group made me love Impact. Also seeing old wrestlers from wwe was mind blowing for me as a kid. I watched TNA at its best years 2007-2011. Always thought the x division was a dope title.
