Zeus had multiple wives and lovers in Greek mythology. The last one was Heracles's mother, maybe.

Dionysus is Hercules' half brother.

One story Hades grabbed his own niece Persephone and drags her into the Underworld. And made her a bride for Hades, and had kids together. But according to Descendants Hades cheated more then once with Minthe, like Maleficent and maybe the Evil Queen. Still we don't know who's Evie's father. Other fans thinks it's Gaston, guess what. It's not Gaston. Sure, Gaston is vain. But Gaston is also cruel and hot temper. Gaston got married to Laurette(one of the triplets)in the same movie, they both had 3 sons. My point all disney characters are different, but even though they have similarly to each other like. Hades and Maleficent, hint the christening or being late.

Too be fair the only thing the movie and tv series has in common with the myths is the names of the gods and some of the mortals and who is Zeus’s kids (most of which aren’t Hera’s kids)

And in Disney’s defense the greek myths aren’t anymore kid friendly than the original stories of any of the movies they made, especially compared to the grim brothers tales, so at least they tried to change it up for the kids. I mean would you rather your kids watch Hercules learn to be a true hero by finding true love, save her and Olympus from the titans, or would you rather have your kids watch Hercules force to do 12 dangerous task for his evil cousin and step mother to redeem himself for killing his family that Hera made him do (although that would make a good pg-13 if not rated r movie and I’m disappointed no one actually made a Hercules movie based on his twelve task instead of having a movie that mentions the task).

Hercules and Ariel(the little mermaid) are related through posidon that is a fan theory, ariel’s dad is posiodons son in the little mermaid canon

That fantheory actually don’t go with the tv series as the video shows what triton looks like in the series and he’s nothing like Ariel’s father King Triton

The whole entire DISNEY MOVIE is called HERCULES

so ares is god of mars and his sons are after the 2 moons!

I don't think the original movie and the animated series really conect, it's just complicated facts.

In the Disney movie and tv show hercules is the only kid of Zeus and hera the rest are brothers and sisters of Zeus and hera there not there kids just hercules

Zeus did not had just one wife and she was not the mother to Zeus’ children. The only children that Hera is the mother to is Ares, Hephaestus, and you forgot Hebe! Hephaestus is not the creator of Zeus’ lightning bolt! Hera, Hestia, and Demeter were also Zeus, Hades, and Poseidon’s sisters and also Kronos and Rhea’s daughters! And where the heck is Iphicles, Alcmene, Heracles’ mother, and Amphitryon’s son? Dionysus is not Heracles’ cousin, that is his half-brother and who is Otus? Where the heck is Prometheus, the cousin of Zeus?

You have a very annoying way of comparing Roman and Greek cultures. They are NOT related in any way. you may just as well say America and Canada are the same or Japan and China are the same. No. Minerva is not the same as Athenaea. And Hercules is Roman, not Greek. And he is not the son of Hera. Perseus is Herakles' great grandfather.

Get Greek mythology straight. And don't use Roman names.
