To anyone watching this, purchasing with FlipnOut was so smooth, lightning fast shipping, and Zach was amazing with communication. You guys rule!

Thanks buddy that means a lot
Just got into pinball myself. Waiting for tmnt premium to come in tomorrow. I've been binge watching all your videos. You guys make great content. I'm hooked.
At about the 5 minute mark, Zach is thumbing through the paper setup instructions and suggests that if you’re the “reading type” you can shut off the video. It was at that point I checked to see the actual length of this unboxing and setup. FORTY FIVE MINUTES. I’m impressed. And appreciate the entertainment. I almost kinda with Delt was there just so you could slug him.
Hello, I'm from Australia and just ordered my first new machine. I came across this tutorial-thanks a lot for the great video!
Awesome video! Just ordered my first pinball machine ever😁 so im thankful for the tips! hopefully this will help me get the Scooby Doo by spooky set up well!
First was Wonka CE, followed by Elvira, and finally GNR LE. Absolutely love setting up a new machine. Watching this was so satisfying I may have to video my next setup! Great content.
Thank you for the detailed video, it helped me out a lot to setup my first and probably only pinball machine, as my mom got it for me as a early Christmas gift. Had to have have help with the back legs cause I certainly couldn't do it myself, luckily my mom had to have rotorooter fix her laundry washer drain and he had a trainee with him and said that they would help me after the clog was fixed, so I just got it setup and tested today. EVERYTHING WORKS! By the way as far as the one I chose to have tell Santa to get me. SCOOBY DOO CE! Only had one piece of packing material under the glass on the playfield. Nothing underneath the service station position and scared myself thinking I tore a wire checking it out but no. Also when I checking the menu settings, I thought I had ripped a wire because I had no response on the enter/menu key behind the coin door. Just a loose slide on wire that came off, put it on and it was responsive. Big YAY! Thanks again for the video. Plus I had to report within 24 hours if there was a problem to the company but couldn't lift the back end. So I was in supense.
Just purchased my new pin, first one, and I'm more than a little nervous about unboxing/setting up. After watching your video though... I think I'm in good shape! As a new subscriber, and a new pinball machine owner, looking forward to more of your content. Thank you so much for posting this, hopefully I can find the video again when I start setting it up!
Had to watch this just in case during the unboxing of our Godzilla Premium we just got from Flip N Out Pinball. Thanks again Zach Meny and everyone at Flip N Out. We love you guys!!!!

@@SDTMMy son and I have watched this and every single SDTM video several times. We just didn't want to "Bone" ourselves by not watching while we were actually doing it. I hear an Iron Maiden pro in our future.
Total Nuclear Annihilation was my first NIB, jumped on the bandwagon early and got #62. Scott and Spooky knocked it out of the park, just an a amazing game. Good video Zack. Godzilla looks great. Sterns gonna be selling this title for years.

TNA is a super fun shooter with a Rad soundtrack. Sometimes i have my ALexa just stream TNA soundtrack while I clean the kitchen.
You said, "To clear the balls you simply put your finger there and eject it...manually!" Perfection!
Thanks so much Zach! I just unboxed my Godzilla P today, first pin and this was massively helpful. Congrats on the pool removal.
Thanks for the great video. I ordered my first pin, Jaws LE and it arrives in 5 days! this video is going to make set up much less stressful! thank you! Next Machine in my sights will be a Deadpool Premium! excited!
Godzilla review coming soon then with Bone?

Love the video. Extremely informative and Zach is hilarious. Naturally funny, not forcibly cringey funny. One of these days I hope to afford one of these bad boys fresh out of the box.

Great video for a noob like me. I am thinking about getting my first machine and this took a lot of the worry out of the set-up part. I do business in the Evansville area and will absolutely look to you for my first purchase.

Buying NIB is the biggest sucker deal in pinball. Save yourself $500-$700 *and* all of the cheap Stern defects will be fixed. I would never buy NIB again. You’re paying extra money for the privilege of fixing problems Stern should have fixed in the factory.
Thank you putting this together. Just got my first, Jurassic Park, and had it up and running in about an hour. One question I didn’t see covered was the tilt bob installation?

Thanks and yeah next time we update video we will add that
Great video, thank you! Helped calm me a bit as I'll be getting my first machine soon. That said, my first machine is a Scooby from Spooky. Anything particularly different to look out for on there that differs from a Stern?
thanks Zack, when i buy im coming to you guys
Thanks for the how to video. Exactly what I needed to set up my first machine that is Godzilla!

3:48 You Forgot to mention to wear a safety helmet, Steel toed boot's, Leather safety gloves and Bubble wrap around the arms and legs., Not to mention your safety vest and make sure you have a fire extinguisher on hand, and make sure you have a second or third person available to spot you and help move the machine out of the box. use the buddy system. Almost forgot; Wear a mask or respirator
Getting my first one delivered tomorrow to a local youth center. And it's terminator 2 judgment Day

That metal part that has the decal with ball count on it is your lockdown bar receiver. 😉
Will get my first pinball today, Deadpool premium. Will try to go though this video in a couple of hours when I unbox. Ps: tI hink you forgot the tilt
Nice
I just got my Godzilla Premium in April 2023 and the feature number that changes the Trough Eject Power went from Feature #78 to Feature #168.. FYI
Good video
There's only one thing missing from your video. When you put the playfield in the service level position you didn't cover how to mount the tilt ball. Thank goodness that they covered it and their instructions. Good video otherwise, thanks. Very informative.
I have watched 3 or 4 different videos on pinball machine setup, and now I feel confident and comfortable about the setup of my first pinball machine that just came today about an hour ago. One silly question though is how tall is the stool you used so it can help me.

Should have had Greg in the video to give his tips too! Like, lowering the cab on the floor before putting the legs on :)
One of my pet peeves is that you can reset the bookeeping data, one of my midways does that.
Hello. I was wondering if there is any guidance for setting tilt bob? How far up or down to tighten it for Carpet floor vs. Hardwood/Cement. Thanks.
great video thanks! I hope to own a pinball machine one day before they go extinct!!

I'm buying the mandolorian today I hope.
Yall ship to Texas? Im looking for a machine soon and am looking around online at places!
Led Zeppelin Premium is my first machine, just came today
Is the tilt Bob mentioned in this video at all?
What are your thoughts on the used pinball prices going nuts?
My first pinball purchase ever is the new Godzilla! It won’t be here until august but I’m saving this for later! Thank you this video is going to be super helpful
And yes a fan of the Pinball network podcasts. As well a kinada and loser kids podcasts as well..
Guess! What you got there, I didn't even search for that but that's what R &L is delivering tommorow.
Does the game itself come with a level built in . I want to say I saw one . Also what is the recommended angle . 6.5?
I found your video very helpful. My only question is how to install the tilt. Can you help me understand how to install it and how to set it up in a way that will allow my aggressive kids to shake it some without tilt stopping the game?

Yeah Gary open the coin door and there’s a fastener on the bottom of the dangling tiltbob that you can adjust to allow it to lower, making it less sensitive to nudging

Can I uninstall the tiltbob so tilt is off?@@SDTM
Unboxing a GODZILLA.. so jealous and envious.. Thought you would go with the premium but a pro.. That's weird. Oh well just jealous.
What are your thoughts on the long lead times for purchasing a new pinball machines?
I'll save this video for the day I win the lottery and buy an Addam's Family pinball table. Haha.
I was unboxing my Godzilla machine when my Pecker got caught un the ball ehector.
The thing I'm really confused about is how to properly balance a pinball machine. No unboxing Pinball machines show that part.
No u won't get line on glass! It's harder, also it never hits coin door. I've taken out glass a thousand times.
You post so little I literally forget about your channel, which is odd because I love your channel. Get Greg out there and do a top 10 worst pinball machines ever video. I like when Greg talks shit.
Just kidding it's Halloween... OR AM I? GARY STERN YOU HAVE EXPLAINING TO DO.. WITH THOSE EMPTY CANS from Data East Pinball games... Are they vessels to hold human souls for your pinball machines?
See you and the Bonester at Expo?
GODZILLA REVIEW IN ORDER...
Love the part when you keep saying the same things over and over again. Keep up the good work

Sorry about that, let us know what that was again so we can hear it one more time. :)
But Zack... There's a weird conspiracy going on with pinball especially Data East late 90s Pinball machines. I watched a rebuild of Star trek 25 anniversary edition.. from Data East. And somehow there's a empty can screwed into the bottom of the cabinet.. in that channel was asking what's with the deal with the empty can. Then I watched a restore on Data East hook. Lo and behold there is a empty can screwed into the bottom of the cabinet. WHAT IS UP WITH THESE EMPTY CANS IN THE BOTTOM OF THE PLAY FIELDS? Is this a Data East thing? Was the workers working for Data East so epic coffee drinkers they couldn't figure out how to recycle the empty cans? IS GARY STERN INVOLVED? IS HE PART OF THE NWO OR ILLUMINATI? and did anyone else notice empty cans screwed into the cabinets? Inquiring minds need to know what is up with the empty cans? Are we in the middle of a conspiracy? Or should I blame it on Mandela effect.. I think not I'm blaming Mandela even though he's dead passed on kicked a can so to speak.. But it's so weird.
@thierrydelage1681

Might be a simple coincidence as i owned many Data East pins (Star Trek, Ninja Turtles, Hook, Lethal Weapons 3, Back to the future, Last action hero...) and not a single one contained an empty coffee tin inside... So maybe some operators thingy in order to store spare parts inside the cabinets... who knows ? 😁
@memyopinionsche6610

Those well I hope it's a coincidence.. But really too different pinball machines from two different channels. In both pinball machines had empty cans.. Coincidence maybe but I'll just blame the Illuminati. But it's still weird..

@@memyopinionsche6610 Sounds like you happened to get two used games from the same operator, who installed said cans to hold loose parts, bolts, nuts, washers, what have you. Not a bad idea.

It's not me it's two different channels I watch for Pinball repair.. One was repairing a Data East Star trek 25th anniversary. And a hook pinball repair.. And both had empty cans screwed in on the bottom of the playfield.. And TNT amusement says it was part of the speaker hole.. But those empty cans isn't part of the speaker holes.. I get why they would think that.. But nope.
