    Dunmer culture was lightly inspired from India. Tribunal = Trimurti, calpa, Vivec = Shiva. But at the same time Veloth almost obviously inspired by Moses, and thus Trinimac is the Pharoh

  • @Nonamearisto

    @Nonamearisto

    8 ай бұрын

    @@Fortify2030 Very loosely at most. The Tribunal could also easily be taken from the Christian trinity- their temple even has "saints" in it- and it's obvious that Vivec, Sotha Sil, and Almalexia are meant to be a fighter, mage, and thief, respectively. And the Kalpa isn't a term in Elder Scrolls which is specific to Morrowind.

  • @Fortify2030

    @Fortify2030

    8 ай бұрын

    @Nonamearisto Which god in Trinity is a trasngender? 😁 Early Shiva cults depicted him as a transgender god just like Vivec, he also a poet and a warrior. Sotha Sil is obviously Brahma, god creator. And Almalexia is the Vishnu. Also Nerevarine is an avatar of Nerevar ancient dunmer warrior and king, which reminds us Rama. In Christianity trinity is ONE god, not three different gods. Tribunal is the three different gods, wich can act as one if needed and become AlmSiVi. In hinduism Trimurti can do the same and become as the Brahman (ultimate being).

    Great video. Even though I've played Morrowind long after both Oblivion and Skyrim, there is something special about it when compared to others. It's as though a piece of it has stayed with me through it all, and nostalgia has nothing to do with it. This video captures all of it well and I get this warm feeling when hearing the music and the landscape of Morrowind. Thank you for your work. "Under sun and sky we greet you warmly, outlander..."

    “Divine inspiration” is an interesting word for what became of a “sithis shaped hole”. The heart and the void it left has also been connected to Sheo, I wonder if this divine madness was intentional at all, especially in regards to what the heart did to Dagoth, and if the heart is atleast metaphorically related to Sheo, it says a lot of Vivec blaming Bar on him

    Hey Drew, for the last year I have been missing these video's. For years I have been following all the lore video's on fudgemuppet, first when you just wrote them, then after you also talked in them. then slowly it started to decline with the podcast taking over witch I did not like nearly as much as a scripted video. then all the lore video's just stopped. I have been missing it ever since until now! I did not know you split off and made al your video's here, shame on the algorithm, it should know I will now watch everything you made in the next couple of weeks. I just knew when I started the video, slowly the music rolling in, cinematic shots of the topic at hand that I found my bed time story's once again. Thanks for continuing it here and sorry for finding you so late again.

    That was enthralling and enchanting!👌🏻🔥🤌🏻 I wish I had played Morrowind but I didn’t learn enough about it to invest myself at the time-I did manage to with Oblivion and Skyrim however. I doubt I’ll have time before the world goes tits-up now-I’m also too busy prepping for the complete collapse of civilisation and civil war to focus on anything else other than relaxing and watching videos like this in my downtime😀🤷‍♂️

    This was incredible. I love TES lore so much and now I want to go play Morrowind again, and I never want to do that. Come on Skywind, you can’t get here fast enough!

    @SHDU Studios I was thinking the same exact thing…looking forward to the launch of Skyblivion and Skywind…until I found out that the consoles won’t have them. If I can figure out how to rake the money together, I just have to may go out and get a computer for those 2 games. I couldn’t care less about Redfall, Starfield, the MMOs, and other mammoth shit Bethesda keeps trying to sell us. Honestly, I’d like to see an attempt to make Skyfall (Daggerfall rebuilt/remade in the Creation Engine 2 or 3 or whatever the newest technology is now) too. Well I assume that’s what it would be called. I just wish I had the money to go out and buy a computer for games like that.

    No doubt this question will get lost in the comments -- but I cant help but wonder... will we ever get the Daedrologists backstory?

    This was perfectly dissected and a complete guide to Dunmer culture and lore! It’s NEEDED that you do one on every race like this, it’s given me more enlightenment to this race. I played this game since 2013 and loved it glad you and fudgemuppet are one of the top elder scrolls content makers 💯

    Great video. I loved playing Morrowind on the original Xbox. I remember not really liking the slavery aspect of their society. I freed every kahjit and argonian I came across. I do think its poetic justice that the dunmer got rocked by an eventual war that nearly destroyed their society.

    This is so cool! Thank you for always making such high quality lore videos. I always love them. Can you do one for each province eventually? (Or at least each one that’s had a game so far?)

    I used to watch my older brother play this game all the time... in fact he hogged the Xbox months on end. He would jump everywhere until he could jump Hella high. I remember the graphics being top notch at the time.
