I was one of the peer reviewers and endthr said "i mean im more just listing this for posterity and thought it would be more simple if I did it for 1 crop" whatever that means

one note on the pesterminator books. unless you already have the gold medals in all contests you might want avoid putting them on your fermento and ranchers boots, because it will give you that higher pest chance which could mess up your farming fortune during a contest and make it more difficult.

It also gives fortune so it’s advantageous for the remaining time. Just use repellent and clean-out pests before. For beginners that don’t have gold medals it matters much more that they even get pests so they can get a super high pesthunter fortune bonus. Just plan efficiently around when to catch your pests

One of the farm design youtubers I like is GroveManDan. He has all the farms placed in just 10 plots. The updated one is great for pests, but his other ones are good enough for pests.

If you’re Ironman, use the boots! Until you have the full set then you can use rancher boots

The normal way space helmet grind and if lucky you well jist have to buy it for a few mil the farming way 1 in 1000 chance and you have to pay 1bil for somthing worth less then 1 bil hate life and you have to be max level for the farm so have fun

only thing I don't understand is how to get that much strength with a farming setup :p

Can someone explain to me how water melon makes more money than pumpkin? I have 2 melon plots and only 1 pumpkin plot and my pumpkin plot makes more than my melon plots per full harvest. If i had 2 pumpkin plots, it would blow my melon plots out the window so i dont understand why people are saying that melon makes more money than pumpkin.

im comparing them at the theoretical max fortune. more than likely your setup for pumpkin is better than your melon setup. you also have to acount for rngs, sometime you get lucky with the rolls on one crop over the other

@Endthr No happens pretty consistently. My melon dicer also has more farming fortune than my pumpkin dicer since I made my melon farm first. But it'll take a long while to get fully maxed out on farming fortune, so I believe that pumpkin is actually better to start with in terms of money, and if what you said it true, then slowly transition to melons as you start getting some really high farming fortune. My highest farming fortune as of right now is only 449 after all. Edit: And I use the same design for both my melon and pumpkin farm.

Also pumpkin isnt a bad crop, just when you math it out, it is slightly worse than melon and wheat, iirc pumpkin is the 3rd best crop

@Endthr Hm. They must have some premium farming fortune then. 🤣 I guess I'll test it out again and farm each crop for 1 hour and see the results. Again, I only have 1 pumpkin plot while I have 2 melon plots with a farming fortune of 449 for my pumpkin using the pumpkin dicer and 479 for my melons using the melon dicer. I'll give you my numbers once I'm done.

I never really understand comments like these... just play the game man. Imma be real for 365 hrs this is bad but imma be real if ur trying to have a high sb lvl and nw in a short amnt of time ur jus not gonna have fun so unless youve been playing a long time and the profiles sole purpose is progressing fast then there is absolutely no reason to worry abt ur nw/lvl in x playtime.
