This is especially true for someone like me. I'm able to hold my own and do decently well. But unless I get lucky, and I have, I have no chance against actually skilled players. I'm on and off on brawlhalla and I just recently came back from a year long hiatus, so I was just wondering what the general consensus was on this kind of thing

Yeah I just like to a look at the meta to see if there's anything unexpected, like I would never expect vraxx to be number 1 lmao. I'm a mako main and honestly don't care that he's at the bottom, I'm having fun and feel like I'm doing quite well.

Tezca does deserve a higher spot on 1v1s for sure. He straight up has some super consistent 50/50s on boots (slight/nlight - dsig). Not only that, but battleboots themselves have nlight/slight - nair as a 50/50 too. Shit's not ok fr lol

I've been playing Kaya ever since the pandemic; she was a below average legend. I play for her weapons, sigs, and lore. It's really interesting how pro games affect opinions among players, and now they have realised her potential. Glad to see that she's in 2nd place and getting more recognition.

as a Kor main (lvl 80+) yea i understand why its bottom 3, still my fav char on the roster tho and imo the coolest looking with the coolest looking moves, Kors bag is just shallow as and its hard to punish alot of things

I love playing Brawlhalla, but I feel like I don't really know what I'm doing. I play pretty casually and I win and lose an equal amount of times, but anytime I come up against any player above average I don't have a chance. I can hold my own, but I don't know how to do any of the fancy things I see the professional players like you and other youtubers do, and I almost never understand any of the terms that are used and things like that. I really just need a good recourse that teaches that kind of stuff for a barely intermediate noob like me.

17:35 nix and mordex too also got slight nsig inescapable off a dodge (scythe), but people like sandstorm use slight sair instead? Not sure why

I kept wondering if i should main mordex or nix, but because of this list I’ll main nix now, thanks!

So where would you put GS in ones if it didn't have to deal with dash changes ruining the weapon? I mean, it was considered a very strong weapon before the dash changes, but you also have to consider that its two hardest matchups are very strong right now. And while you're at it, where would Jaeyun and Arcadia be (since they are the most relevant greatsword legends)? Also want to nominate Koji as a top 10 legend, because somehow I do not see anyone using the dlight-nsig true combo on sword. All you need is a little momentum when hitting the dlight (preferably from a dash) and the nsig will always be true, it's such an easy way to build up damage and can kill earlier than dlight rec. Only downside is the positioning you get, but honestly it's fine enough. Sword can both juggle and ledgetrap very effectively and dlight-nsig will always give you at least one of these situations.

GS could only be good in a 1v1 but it's still difficult to use and isn't very rewarding. So it could be B- tier while Arcadia can be B+ tier.

@@god2641 it's not any harder to get reads, the reads you did before still cover the same dodges. It's that the reads just straight up do not work anymore. The dash changes made it so you could snap to the ground from much higher in the air, meaning you can dash out of the nlight-dlight-nlight combo, which was THE way you read dodges with GS. It has been changed since making this comment, the slight bridge was sped up to make nlight-slight-nlight unjumpable... but in the 5 hit combo, it's still a 50-50 whether you can jump out or dash out. GS lives and dies by it's kill power from a read, and while it's a bit better now, at the time GS was literally useless. Those changes to experimental where you can't dash for 4 frames after getting hit? I highly suspect that is specifically to fix GS, and the only reason they didn't implement it immediately is that it is technically a universal change to dash mechanics and changing it immediately would have caused an uproar. Don't assume it's propaganda, know what you are talking about before forming an opinion.

There is no meta. Nearly every weapon/legend has a generous amount of representation. If you want to say there’s a meta than Arguably Kaya is just that with her having multiple tops in both 1’s and 2’s in recent times.

Sure, you can find mild success with any legend if you truly know how to use it, and meta means litereally nothing below high plat, but there will always be some legends that are better than others to varrying degrees and varrying points in time.

I'll fuck up anybody with Lord Vraxx!!! Love that game, it reminds me of SSB. Anyone with a 🔮 or a 🧹 spear is vast with agility that's equipped more on the offensive side. Timing plays big factor in regards to the control & output of the player, and I love that about this game.

If Cosolix did not have his wrist injury, he could have been fit to win a major with Vraxx if he put the work on

I’ve never seen Diana to be as good as she was when Boomie played her on the norm. I just think her signatures are just useless now because the risk of throwing them out is greater than the reward. If you’re gonna play Diana, you might as well not use the sigs(mainly the blasters’ sigs and bow ssig), because they seem so reactable now.
