Intergalactic jazz trio The Comet Is Coming blew us away when they came down to Goldsmiths Music Studios.

I love how most of these London area groups are part of an interchangeable collective. Everybody pretty much plays in everybody else's band bringing a more interconnected communal spirit and love of music back to the fore.

Anyone claiming 'they don't make good music any more' will be countered with links to bands like The Comet is Coming and Vulfpeck.

Don't know if it's the mix.. It just sounds flat. Other than that, it's all totally Hawkwind in the 80's especially Inner City Unit.

To be fair synth could do with more low end in the mix for this session. On the album and live, synth normally has it covered: thecometiscoming.bandcamp.com/track/journey-through-the-asteroid-belt-channel-the-spirits

Yeah, the mix is off, you don't properly hear Dan the Danalogue, who would give some depth to the music. If you have the chance, go and see them, they are amazing. Blew my head off, their energy is palpably awesome.
Great music, although unbalanced with the bias on the electronica and horn, some of the drummers subtleties lost in the reproduction process.
Total garbage
