    Hey bud. I need some help. I finally got the Hacker Motor and Fan delivered. Same exact setup as yours. I hate to ask, and i dont know if I am missing parts. The manual just has pictures of the 110mm jetfan sitting there, and i think i dont have any mounts. Question is how did you mount the motor and fan. Any help will be GREATLY appreciated.

    Hello, Have you ever tried slats and flaps together for landing or only the flaps ? Otherwise nice flight! Stefan

  • @Barron5362

    You cant keep a good man down! Congrats on the success man. I have logged 88 flights on my turbine version. With full slats/flaps deployed, I found tip stalling on landing is a non-issue. Ask me how I know. I botched landing, while dragging it in, resulting in a ~20deg AOA after the bounce. I'm so confident in this, with take-off slats/flaps, I hold up elevator while accelerating modestly on take-off... such that the bird promenades... until she wants to fly. I'm a slat believer! She will fly much slower with full flaps/slats but will just flat drop, without warning, when slowed too much. The thing is, that it doesn't drop a wing.

    Thank you!! Appreciate the kind words, I haven't used the slats yet. I need to know more about then and how it will affect the plane in take off and Landings. This would be an amazing turbine

    @@RCPlaneReviewer how so? People are flying the 110mm hacker 780kv on 14s so few more volts shouldnt heat up that much.

  • @RCPlaneReviewer

    @RCPlaneReviewer

    7 ай бұрын

    @sendit_rc it's not recommended by hacker. My motor isn't a 14s. it's a 12s, and high voltage isn't recommended, nor is it worth the gamble for 5+ more mph.

    Nice work Bobby! I'm glad that was a success for you! I actually just went and rewatched the original flight video of yours....did you ever get to the bottom of why the original EDF engine went bad on you? Any compensation for any of the original equipment maiden ? Are you using the original batteries from the crash? I'm thinking of getting this and would appreciate any advice. Thank you!

  • @RCPlaneReviewer

    @RCPlaneReviewer

    So the issue was with the motor on the edf. It apparently had bad wires, meaning it was a bad batch of wire from the factory. When looked at the wire was charred and non-shiny. Shorted the motor and released the white smoke! The batteries were no good after the crash. No compensation is needed due to the ARF Pro. This T-45 is awesome and a GREAT flyer! i put 4 other flights on it and its a big baby! and FAST!

    Have you thought about getting a turbine? That edf is cool but three minute flight time is too short for me. Right now I have one nitro plane with a 68” wingspan and a 10cc gas plane. Next year or the year after I’ll be getting a turbine jet. 10 minute flight times are sweet.
