The king of flow. It's awesome watching Rob surf. Makes it look fun no matter how big the wave is.

Beautiful videography and surfing, I love that you guys used more soft instrumental/symphony music to accompany the surf scenes, makes it that much more magical and lets the waves and scenery be the focal point, rowdy music tends to take away from all that, great job to everyone who helped create this!!

Thanks. The Seaside and Beyond and the Sunday are probably my two boards with the widest range when it comes to conditions, wave size, etc...

The soundtrack for this magnificent journey is epic. Much love.

This made me homesick. Cardiff by the Sea and north county SD is my favorite place in the states. I moved to Phuket, Thailand six years ago. This a piece of art. I tasted the water, felt the kelp, I know that sunset so well while surfing Swamis, Cardiff Reef, Seaside...I almost tasted VG's!

This captures some of the beautiful lighting and hues that we experience while chasing waves. Great little film

Watching surf movies with my dad for around 30 years, and being a goofy footer, and having working eyes, I'm SO EXCITED to watch you surf at ANY age. Your boards and style are doing the healthiest of things for the recreation we love. 💙💙💙

@@robertomachatski thanks Rob, Few things I want to share. 1- I love my Seaside and everyone who try my board in the line up fall in love with the board 2- Your name always come up in the line up when we talk about the best surfers out there (I am 49 and you be amazed how many youngster love your unique style), I call it jazz surfing. 3- Surfers in Puerto Rico love you. I think everything you touch you turn into gold, so please keep making boards, fins and every thing you van come up. I saw the recent Ikea collaboration and it looks awesome

I remember watching Rob at banyans in kona for the lil contest they put on there back in like 02 dudes been killing it for decades now 🤙

Rob, I am a beginner surfer and I really enjoyed this film. It was simply mesmerizing! You float on water and the ocean dances around you. The music, the clips, the unbelievable surfing. I hope one day that I can come close to making a bottom turn and top turn like you do. And barrels too! Thank you for making this film!

You really captured rhythm of surfing through a season on a specific piece of coast. Although, the reefs and beaches around San Diego are an exceptionally rich region for waves.

So fortunate to have lived and surfed for a lifetime in and around North County San Diego. I chose to go to college at UCSD because I could walk to Blacks from the dorms and have never left. Later I worked at the local Boys and Girls clubs and so I kinda sorta knew about Rob from very early on. Then he hit the big time and he was and is forever 'my guy'. We love you, Rob.

Beautiful film that more closely captures the magic of surfing than we’ve ever gotten. That filmer got in some heavy situations to get the shot.

Best surf film I've seen since I don't know when. I've got a So cal bias. But ultimately the Debussy is far more reflective of ideal surfing than any other music ever thrown at a film. I'd say hip hop is next, and I dont know why. Real hip hop though, not the gangsta rap fecal matter, is next best. I surf socal and am a professional musician. I play Debussy and everything from Metallica to whatever else you want. Debussy has always thrown my sites to an overcast sky above salt swept sands. Debussy also captures the edge of the golden age of exploration. I grew up riding before the internet and I am filled with sorrow for all those who missed that time. We explored our backyards because we didn't have a blog to consult. We had relationship. We had the happy occasion of a coastline going rictor without warning or forecast. Everytime we paddleded out was filled with hope. Now we paddle out with expectation. It's not the same at all.

@@robertomachatski Myself 5''6 +5'8 Seaside (im 52), 10yr old daughter 5'2 Seaside, friends have Seasides / Beyonds, all our surfing got a big boost with these boards. Seaside keeps me feeling young, so many thanks on that front. Will get a Mashup in May to keep challenging myself. Your a very benign force in Surf culture. Good man yourself.
