No disrespect to the artist, but this style isn't new. I believe Lustmord is credited as the godfather, but dark ambient type electronic music goes back to the 60s at least. I'm glad new music is expanding your mind though. There is a lot of it out there. As for the apocalypse, it's been pretty much a top conversation topic for the last 3,000 years. Welcome.
Dude, i discovered your music not long ago. I am running a horror campaign for a table top game. Your music has MADE our sessions memorable!! I love your stuff!!
Dude you seriously are a genius. My Dad is a psychologist for the mentally inclined or handicapped and he helps them basically “unlock” neural paths for better dopamine and electrode production. He recommended you to me because the darker music you make helps me with my powerlifting and strongman because it unlocks spaces of trauma and rage that induces extreme blood flow and adrenaline rushes if I listen to it and focus for times periods. So long story short your music has made me stronger than I ever thought possible so I Thank You sincerely 🙏🏼

The longer you listen to Iron Cthulhu Apocalypse the more you develop a taste for his music. I have been reading a lot of HP Lovecraft over the last couple months while listening to some of my favorite tracks here and the experience has completely changed the way I read, imagine and dive deep into those horrifying stories. I get the greatest joy in life when I sit down to read along with this. Keep up the good work!

That reminds me of something I heard once- A man was accused of shooting and killing someone, his wife I think. During his trial there was some doubt surrounding the details, namely the defense lawyer saying that his client couldn’t have shot her, because she fell forwards instead of backwards. A firearms instructor was brought in as an expert witness, and on the stand was asked to tell the court which way a person falls when they are shot. He answered, “Down.” 😆
I feel free when I listen to this piece.
I'd imagine a visual like this would be the last thing the world would see before the collapse.

@@nightmarishcompositions4536 But it would finally be over. No second chances. The final exit.
At the peak population, most spent every living second in the company of hundreds of others. They gathered in the main squares, waiting to be fed and occasionally attacking each other. Few females carried pregnancies to term, and the ones that did seemed to simply forget about their babies. They'd move half their litter away from danger and forget the rest. Sometimes they'd drop and abandon a baby while they were carrying it. The few secluded spaces housed a population called, "the beautiful ones." Generally guarded by one male, the females-and few males-inside the space didn't breed or fight or do anything but eat and groom and sleep. When the population started declining the beautiful ones were spared from violence and death, but had completely lost touch with social behaviors, including having sex or caring for their young. Collapse became inevitable and the entire population died either in violence or solitude. So it seems, Apathy and Affluence, not War or Famine, are the true wasters of civilizations.
This music - is serious.
This is impressive. I could see myself playing this while running Call of Cthulhu.
Saw your author list. Big fan of your work and wanted to reccomend Jack Vance to you. Ideally start with The Dying Earth. Thanks for this piece!

Good work. Back in 2011-2012 I did some ambient experiments, and it was buried for a long time. Some tapes, some CDs still lies in the dust, somewhere in the depths of my boxes. With every single time listening to your works, I feel an inspiration to record something new. Last year a lot of bad things is happened to me, and I need to release that darkness through audio, I guess. And this is something from personal listening experience (reading with DA is good, but idk, maybe it will be useful for someone): dark ambient sounds great in good earphones walking through autumn's misty forest, cold wintery forest under fullmoon, misty and storm сoasts, some industrial ruins, and empty town streets. That's how i love listen to DA. But beware of thugs. Once i was robbed. It was cold and late night. With best regards, Iron Cthulhu. Sorry for non-perfect english.

Dear Mogul's Dungeon, Thank you for sharing your experience and current state of feeling. I encourage you to release the darkness that you absorbed but no longer need. I encourage you to embrace your darker creative side. Why? because it is inside of you to express these feeling through sonic communication. You probably feel weird expressing what your creative heart wants to express. Stop fighting it and just embrace and express it. I too have very strange at time almost obsessive desire to take other peoples sounds and destroy them completely. 1000 percent to destroy sounds and make something horrid terrifying and awe inspiring. So many talk about music production but very few discuss sonic destruction! I enjoy the sonic destructive process. And Yet it SCARES THE SHIT OUT OF ME! what comes out of me. I said all of that so I can hopefully encourage you to get back to your creative expression. Build a habit of creative expression once a week once a day once a month whatever your time schedule allows. Use free or very cost effective software start with audacity or a tape recorder analog or digital whatever you like. Again thanks for sharing and keep sharing if you feel like it or not! Thank you for being YOU! You are AWESOME and YOU are a CREATIVE GENUIS!

Beautifully ominous and foreboding just like the times we live in). We may be screwed, but at least we've lived long enough to see the high development of dark ambient, and bands artists such as ICA, as the pre-eminent musical expressions of our time. Cheers!
Everything gets suddently serious and eerie while listening to these masterpieces, whenever I play some games with this in the background I see a great improvement, I am focused, more aware, cold blooded and patient and I bet it does work with real life too, everything gets distorter over this, even taking a walk in the wild gets super tensious and dark, yeah it makes me feel like i'm in some kind of a post apocalyptic environment, and I'm in love with this, i changed perspective on everything and definitely changed my life, keep it up, iron
Ominous and beautiful!
those last ten minutes are truly unlike anything you've composed before. if i had to pick one quote to describe them it would be "Full of sound and fury, signifying... nothing." - Macbeth, Act 5, Scene 5 (extract)

Funny I was listening to a bit of this and had a dream that really did feel like this music, post apocalypse (or collapse) society in a world with anomaly's ruling the stretches of scorched earth, with peoples only remaining respites being these strange, couple miles high super bastilles that are more or less like kawloon walled city. They tell you frequently, do not look outside. at sundown.
Dark? How about Pure Hell :p
This variety of dark ambient transcends mere music. It's a soul-shattering experience. Just brilliant!

Thanks for helicopter sound! Sorry, that I have discovered it so late. This sound is cool, but its your sound, not that I had cultivated in my mind (but of course, your sound is hight level thing, interestly interact with emotions). I need to say, because I'm russian, I'm against this shameful war. Earlier I tried to fight against pathological atmosphere even with risks for my life, and there were death threats to me. I can't fight tacticaly, I have no power, but I fight strategicaly, in long perspective, and in this way I have great power because of my socialy actual mathematical work. So, I have no shame, because I do what I must do in right way. I want to say, that my imaginary helicopter sound much slower, than yours, much slower, than real helicopter sound. It is low sound rythmic blow hits. I think that there is a space between usual music rythms and ambient sounds. Usual rythmic hits are not atmosperic and can't be combined with dark ambient. But slow helicobter rythms: low sound, diffused, with changing smoth trends -- this is an example of dark ambient rythm. And there could be other examples. I think that it is intersting to create rythmic dark ambient, of course with unusual rythmic sounds, more suitable to the dark ambient. Of course I can't guarantee, that this thing will be cool. But I know exactly, that it could be cool. If you try to do this, coolness of music is your responsibility. Your helicopter sound in this composition is cool. And your music in whole is very hight level thing. You know, I am physiologicaly need in rythms. It help me to work. But rythmic music have no so hot atmoshere like in dark ambient. I hope, that in future will appear combination in right way, not simple, not vulgar.
