THE COINS OF THE REALMS BY C A DEEGAN [THE CRACKLOCK SAGA - Book 5] Book Review
SEEK AND YE SHALL FIND…
The Dire seeks its others; its insidious reach stretching across the globe. When it finds them, the realms are doomed.
Jack has to stop it; the coins he needs lost to millennia. And only foes, both old and new, can help him find stolen friends and ancient magicks.
It's a terrible race. Jack and his friends have to win it. They have to...

I too love the name, Deceivers End. Lots of them here in The Coins of the Realms. I'm waiting to see how their lot ends.
The Craclock Saga is an amazing series

Absolutely it is. I really do enjoyed this one? What series are you currently in the book?
"Pardon me, I added mine" 3:48. I forsee that wasn't in the synopsis 🤣🤣 but we tend to twist word when we find a book that stood to the heart.

Yes, cause I knew I added mine there. Lol
Yes, I remembered the doing of the Lafey Twins, in the second and third series I think, those guys really frustrated Jack's life. And I think that's where Jimmy and Dorcas begin to step in. Dorcas would intentionally say, "Is woulds teach you a lesson" to the twins. I remembered where she was dealing with them and how they marveled how on how an unseen creature is dealing with them😅

Yes, the Lafey Twisn. Mason and Tyler, those guys are wicked. Very wicked. Anastasia really instigated them to trouble Jack. Thanks to Dorcas and Jimmy who came in along the line.
Cute that you gave a snippet background of the story from Dire Sorrows before entering the new series.

It's important to do a small revision before jumping into the next topic. Haha
I love Dorcas the most. She is an energetic character. Anastasia is the bad guy. Funny how the old bad guy's had to reunite to fight a much better enemy, The Dire. A race full of turbulence, it is.

I too love Dorcas, but my most admirable character in this series is Roly. I love it so much. I loved Dorcas when I read her standalone. It was so emotional and I felt for her considering what she and her friend undergoes in the hands of Thaddeus Cracklock. It was dreadful. Have you read any of this series?
This looks great. Thank you, Peter.

Very dreadful, and scary!
I've got a lot to catch up with myself with this series. I stopped at Dire Sorrow. I need to get my account right again on Amazon to be able to leave a review. Old man me often find difficulty with tech. I will be picking this up soon as I enoyed the Dire story. I agree with you that Deegan is skilled. Ah, there is a cliffhangers that left you angry and desirous? Haha. That doesn't sound right 😂

Ah, Alfred. I'm certain thay you will love The Coins of the Realms. It's a powerful one and very complicated as well. I liked how the characters to me feels like they are coming together. That's why I feel like one would have to be careful so you don't get lost into the characters lol. Also, I hope you figure out your reviews with Amazon
I laughed out hard when you said the cliffhanger got you angry and desirous at the same time haha, what a nice feeling

You need to see the cliffhanger, it was shocking and unexpected and so I was angry and eager at the same time 😅😅
5:03. I love the diversion there and I like such kind of novel. I understand that Agatha, Anastasia and the DOA affairs guys were the major antagonist so far. Not to mention those others in Dorcas, I think that was Thaddeus Cracklock, he was the bad guy in the standalone series of Dorcas. I particularly like it when there is a switch of antagonist, just like these characters had to fight a common course that is capturing all, the Dire. This is a great technique employed by some brilliant fantasy writer. Have you read any of Brandon Sanderson's works? He does utilized this method in one of his series. I think it's called an antagonist switch.

Great. I think what you are saying for Sanderson is in his The Lost Metal (2022) of the Wax and Wayne series. There are couple crazy antagonist there. That does make sense also, as Mistborn Era 2 started as a "palate cleanser" as he finished up Wheel of Time.

Thank you, Kate. I enjoyed reading your comments. And yes, I think it's a good style of writing. Having a separate antagonist at first, and as the series proceeds, the antagonist begins to expand and here, all of a sudden the antagonist is one, and became a threat that other antagonist in the series thus far had to come together to fight/wrestle with. That transition alone is crazy lol. I haven't read anything from Brandon Sanderson son I can't say to that. But I think someone replied you already.

Like you always say, "That's a truckload of series" I still struggle to produce a novella and here is someone with 5 series, and two standalones. I'm inspired
Many thanks, Peter - loved the review!! Book 6, "Deceivers End" is in progress and its all going a bit haywire - completely off the plan I made for it, but it's working well within the 'new' plot. Thanks again.

I look forward to that, Craig. I can't wait to see how all of this ends. Anastasia particularly, I want to see what becomes of her. And Jennings, the computer guy, I feel so sorry for him. It's sad that the Dire captured some back. And why I feel so sad about the previous coins been through into the Sea, ah, that's a terrible one. David's group must be so frustrated and at every point, the story keeps getting harder and harder 😂 At some point I was like, "My goodness. You guys are so unfortunate"😅😅😅
