3:00 "Let's try this monster out." *half of hot dog disappears*

Do you guys know the story of the half red, half white lightbulb at the refreshment corner? The bulbs are in a pattern : red-white-red-white. When installing the red and white bulbs outside of the restautant, they discovered they'd miscounted the holes and there would have to be two red or two white bulbs side-by-side. Walt was like "no way!", so a custom lightbulb was made that was half red, half white so the pattern wouldn't be broken!

Yep, I believe you can find that documented in the book: "Little Known Facts About Well Known Places-Disneyland".....or in another spiral-bound book that is an actual Disney publication sold in the Park....I forget which.

Inter Stella there are plenty of youtubers who dedicate their channel to disneyland stuff, and they edit well too. I do think some DL vloggers don't edit that much is because they just want to deliver the magic of disney in its purest, rawest form.

Some great youtube channels for disneyland are Thingamavlogs, they feature almost everything about disneyland, not just park food; Fresh Baked Disney, group of vloggers, almost like thingamavlogs; Fatima Lakhani, Briberry, Huitzi21 and Audrey Lee Young are also some good vloggers. There's a great community of Disneyland yt creators, who are dedicated to bringing the magic from the park to our hearts (and tummies as well, like magic journeys here 😄)

As someone who is planning a teen boy's first visit to Disneyland I have to thank you for your videos. I went to Disney for the first time as a teen myself (15 years old back in '98, graduation school trip, no parents, just my 12 year old sister, we're from Mexico) and food was a big problem for shy little me with very limited resources, so it we ended up with a sad hotdog from Pluto's in Toontown. 3 years later we were very fortunate my sister's graduation trip was to WDW!and food was a better expirence there (I was 18 and she was 15), less shy and with more money, we made better choices, but the memory of eating at Disneyland was still sad for me.15 years later I was able to return to Disneyland, and Coca cola corner redeemed the Disney hotdogs for me. 13 years after my first visit I returned to WDW with my sister and with my mom, HER first time, and we splurged by staying on Disney property (Pop Century ftw!), it made more sense moneywise with the discounts, the distances in WDW, and the added perks. While talking about our visits to Disney, my baby cousin, 13, sat quietly and listened to everything I excitedly said, and at the end he just looked amezed and said, I've never been to Disneyland... heart broke, his older brother looked at me and said, I'd love to take him but I'd have no clue on what to do or where to go or anything like that since I went there when I was 9 (he's 22 now). my baby cousin, whom I've cared and changed his diapers, hasn't been to my happiest place! So I told him I'm taking them. I'm trying to plan everything and making sure he has the best foods on our trip, and make it an even better memory for him, cause food and smells are an instrinsecate part of memory. I'm taking my mom too, although she has already been to WDW, this will be her first visit to the place it all started, and Cars land has no comparison to anything in WDW imho.

NinaAngelix just wanted to say save $, have more space , walk to the park,& eat many meals at a VRBO (google them) but stay at Hermosa Village (3 pools/& hot tub) so close to Mickey and Friends parking structure

One of my favorite memories as a kid was always stopping here for a snack on the way out of the park at night with my brother and dad. My Dad took us to DL a few times a year and now that he has advanced Parkinson's Disease, it's nice that I can still see or visit the Refreshment Corner and still remember when my Dad was healthy and himself. Best memories with him.

I remember walking down main street when I was a little girl but since then as a adult haven’t been to Cali in years and Disneyland and even seen California adventures brings back memories of seeing it!

If you go to main street a little before 2:30, go to the Coke corner and you might be able to play musical chairs with Alice and the mad hatter

It's funny how cheap homemade snack items we had as kids are now making a comeback - frito pie, walking taco, etc

Thank you for being family friendly!! We love watching Disneyland with everyone!

You should do a video trying food on the kids menu so we know what to get for our little ones 👍🏼

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU TAKE A TRIP TO MARCELINE. MISSOURI.I live 2 hours away from Marceline. You could put your names in the barn and the museum is GREAT! The diner on the corners pretty good The cinnamon roll are the BEST.I've been LUCKY to get out of the oven.

As a child, I was never allowed to go get my hot dog and Coke there. Last year, I took the family to Tokyo Disneyland. I made sure to stop and finally get my dog and Coke. It was the best!
